"Simple Eid Gifts in times of Ramadan"

Greetings of Peace and Prosperity! I hope you are all doing well and are safe at this extraordinary time.
This is my first time to post in this community. I hope this post of mine will inspire and motivate you about how simple and ordinary means could uplift and touch the lives of others.
I wish to highlight in this post the simple initiatives made by the Mindanao youth volunteers who wanted to give light and hope to the younger generation of the moro brethren in Mindanao.
The Mindanao youth volunteers planned and decided to support a small areas in a rural areas in Lanao del Norte specifically the children and youth who are celebrating their Ramadan.
The Mindanao youth volunteers gathered their individual resources to sum up their initial funds and from there, they started selling meals and food packs to garner enough funds to fulfill their goal which is supplemental feeding and little gift or humble freebies to put a smile in every child.
It took them almost a week to complete it. After selling food item in a week they immediately started purchasing the little gifts and then started repacking the little gifts. As soon as its done it bring it all in the volunteer transportation and the following day they disembark the volunteers warehouse.
The volunteers travelled several hours to reach the said rural area. As soon as they reach the venue they immediately organise things up before the arrival of the children and youth.
The volunteers segregated themselves according to their functions. Some are doing the art activity, some are working with the supplemental feeding others are helping the local leaders to gather the children and youth in the venue.
The activity started with a simple prayer in Islam. After the prayers the children were segregated according to age and gender.
The series of activities went well and the children were really happy to be able to play and be part of the various games.
After the activities, the children were given a bowl of meal as a simple reward for their active participation and the it was followed by the main highlight of this activity none other than the distribution of the simple gifts and freebies.
