To see the present condition in middle east, we can understand that how much the Strait of Hormuz is important for the world. Iran has blocked the Strait of Hormuz through which mostly oil and gas are exported from Gulf countries to others. Iran took this step because USA and Israel attacked Iran on February 28, and it still continues. Nobody knows that how long the war will continue. Its impact can be directly seen on India. According to an article, India imports roughly 88 per cent of its crude oil, 50 percent of its LNG needs and 60 percent of its LPG requirement, most of which transits through the strait.

To see the present condition, Indian government cut down commercial gas supply from 100% to 20% of their average monthly demand, while kerosene oil will be provided to fulfill the demand of household cooking. Hotels and restaurants are allowed to use coal and other alternative methods for cooking their food items. Today, I read an article which published a picture of Biryani cooking which was being prepared by firing wood. I last booked my LPG on February, 18 and can now book again after 25 days. 25 days for people who live in urban area, while people living in rural area can book after 45 days of their last delivery date, according to info found online from different source. I have heard that panic caused LPG crisis in India. However, Indian government is working to solve this issue and I hope everything will be fine in recent future.
