Monthly Report #1 as Detective / SteemWatcher

in STEEM WATCHERlast year

In response to the call to present a monthly report on the cases handled, I bring you a summary of the irregular cases that I have been able to identify in the past month of April.

  • Total number of cases handled in last 30 days.

In the month of April I have managed to discover up to 85 cases, distributed among the communities World Of Xpilar, Project hope, and free to use tags.

  • What type of cases were there?.

In the month of April a variety of cases have been detected, the most frequent is the content generated by artificial intelligence with 53 cases, followed by Spamming with 11 cases detected, then plagiarism with 8, copyright infringement 5, repeat content 5 and phishing 3.

  • How many cases have been solved, ie how many abusers have stopped abusive activity. ( With user id).

Most of the detected cases have been solved, some have stopped publishing, a group has decided to respect Steemit's content policies, while others maintain a dubious activity, below I will share the most important solved cases:

The first to show is related to a series of accounts that shared AI content and directly received a good compensation, repeatedly were reported and that thanks to internal conversations on the part of the Steem-Watcher team with those involved could reach an agreement for these users to adhere to the content policies of the platform, in this case the following accounts are related:

@ribbon-work, @tonig49, @ifrock, @t-s-k, @lordling, @chinley, @basnoli, @proteen, @artchard, @sarkari, @redfoster @write-good, @muhammadadil, @warkite, @aoliver, @boydg, @jessebad, @jackwr, @lucigents, @raylangiv

Another case found that has been solved in the best way is related to the user @reetwrite who we had notified about his plagiarism of content. The intervention of the Project hope team showed support for the linking of this user with the original source @reeta0119 despite having another user name.

  • How many abusers are still continuing abusive activities? (with user id).

A user has not yet been found to have committed any fault.

  • Information about handling any other cases..

A user has not yet been detected incurring in any fault. We must be alert to the rise of users who share comments with fraudulent offers "Phishing", in this period I have identified 3 cases that have been duly reported to those responsible for the communities.

  • A brief statement about the entire 30-day program.

Every time I undertake an investigation on a content I have in mind the need to not find a fault by the user, but unfortunately I keep finding publications with irregular content that deserve to be reported to maintain healthy activities within the platform, these findings I achieve using the following tools.

Plagiarism DetectorsAI Content Detectors
quetextopenai
etxt.bizzerogpt
plagiarismcheckergptzero
plagiarismdetectorcontentatscale
check-plagiarismParaphrasingtool
prepostseoCrossplag

To conclude my report, it is necessary to point out that in each case identified, I leave in the comment a link to the @abuse-watcher publication where some information and advice on plagiarism and abuse is shared.

I appreciate the confidence of the Steem-watcher team, we are at your service.
