Greetings everyone! I hope you are all well. I don’t know if I’m allowed to post in this community or not, but I still think it’s important for me to share my views with you. I know that some people may not like what I have to say and it’s possible that this post may be muted in this community, but at least I have the right to inform you about something that seems wrong to me on this platform because it’s possible that my post may reach those who are capable and then a solution may come out. The post will be a bit long, but I’ll try to write it in a way that doesn’t bore you. So, let’s get started without any further delay.

So, this is about 9 days ago when I participated in the SteemitCryptoAcademy S11W4 challenge. The best thing about this community, in my opinion, is their winner selection criteria. To win the contest, it is necessary for you to comment on the posts of maximum people because the comment factor is also considered in the winner selection. So, keeping this in mind, I started reading other contestants’ entries and commenting on them whenever I had time.

One day when I was reading other contestants’ posts, this post came up which surprised me because anyone who understands the English language and has an idea of word spinning or paraphrasing can easily tell you that the content of this post has been written by spinning words in a very “strong” way. Now the question arises why this happened. The answer seems simple; to avoid plagiarism, but the answer is not that simple.

We all know that since ChatGPT came, there has been a revolution in the world of AI. While there are many benefits to this, there are also many disadvantages because many people misuse this technology to make more money in less time. We all know that given the nature of the Steemit platform, ChatGPT poses a great threat to it and perhaps will continue to do so. At first, not much attention was paid to it, but when AI-generated content started flooding Steemit, SC01 had to comment that “Passing off AI generated text as your own is as bad as plagiarism.” After that AI written content was officially declared against the rules on Steemit.

Some detectors were suggested for detecting AI content. At first everyone started believing that the results of these detectors were quite accurate and many AI-users were caught red-handed. But then when cases started coming up where many users became victims of these tools’ inaccuracies, then another new issue arose: what now? In response to this, SC01 has a comment which I think may have gone unnoticed by some people.

Recently, another new scam has started where some people generate content from AI and either paraphrase it with tools like QuillBot or paraphrase it with the same AI which these free detectors cannot declare as AI at all because they have already failed to distinguish between human and AI content so how can they detect paraphrased AI content?

So, let’s come back to that specific user whose post I mentioned at the beginning of my article. If you haven’t read her post yet, I would suggest you read it once. And yes, I have taken screenshots in case that user sees my article and panics and deletes or edits her post. So, my question to you is: don’t you think there’s something wrong with this post? If you think everything is ok with that post then I would suggest you read it again and focus on these two terms “Abecedarian and Specialized” analysis.

Now here I’m not saying that the word “Abecedarian” doesn’t exist at all, but what I mean is that it’s a very uncommon word in the crypto world. Here we mostly use terms like “fundamental” or “technical” analysis. And to further strengthen my point, I would suggest you read the comments this user has made on other contestants’ entries. You will see the terms “Fundamental and Technical” in every comment of her. Now the question arises why this user didn’t use the word “Abecedarian” in her comments.

Let me tell you the answer to this and that is that her comments are also AI-generated generic feedbacks, some of which I have also taken screenshots of for the same reason I mentioned earlier. I don’t know what prompt she gave to ChatGPT to generate these feedbacks, but looking at this feedback below, I had my suspicion. Surely her prompt must have messed up or she doesn’t have enough sense to know what she’s posting.

Moreover, this user has previously received warnings for plagiarism and AI as you can see in the links below. Feel free to explore the comment section of these posts.

If you still think this user is innocent, then I’ll suggest you to check her introduction post. By the way, I have also taken screenshots of it in case it gets edited. Well, there’s nothing wrong with that, I myself have edited my introduction several times where I updated my degrees and latest info.

Let me present some more things to strengthen my claim, I don’t think these evidences will be considered in “Steemit’s court” but if any sensible person reads my post, then I don’t think he will deny their reality.

Evidence 1

In the introduction post, this user claims to be a female and left school after 10th grade. Now being a Pakistani, I can’t believe that a student of 10th grade in a village primary school can write such heavy English words. This is my personal opinion and most Pakistani Steemians will agree with me on this. However, I could be wrong.

Evidence 2

In the introduction post, this user claims to be from Lahore city but in the post she made yesterday, she wrote that her city is Peshawar.

Now since the introduction post is 2 years old, it is possible that they have shifted to Peshawar during this time. So, this doesn’t count as evidence but looking at it don’t you think this user could be fake too? It is possible that whoever created this account is no longer using it and now some so-called “AI-expert” is handling this account.

Evidence 3

When this user was caught red-handed paraphrasing in Colombia-Original community, imagine her stubbornness that she didn’t even think it appropriate to apologize there.

And when I commented two days ago (2023-08-22, 07:12), this user saw my comment at 07:27 and upvoted it and then removed his upvote at 09:23 without any reply. And after that at 10:22 this user also unsubscribed from Colombia-Original community. Anyone can go to steemworld.org website and confirm these transactions in account operations.

Evidence 4

We all know that AI-content is very robotic in style and you get to see very little human emotions in them. Here I am attaching a screenshot of some text from of this user’s recent posts. You tell me if a human writer was writing this then would the answer be the same as what this user gave.

In addition, I think if you analyze her "other" posts and comments, you will get an idea of how right I am.

Furthermore, when I raised this issue in a very good manner then what reply I got you can see for yourself.

It’s kinda sad but I find the behaviour of some admins and moderators on this site weird. It’s like they act as the site is their personal property and treat you as if you don’t even matter.

I had tagged some other people there too, but some of them didn’t think it was appropriate to reply to me and I can understand why they did that. And I still respect them, but as a Steem Representative, if not as a friend, they could at least have replied with “we’ll look into this matter.”

Anyway, I got in touch with some of them on Discord and one of them advised me not to highlight myself too much as it might not get me support in the future. So, do people with low reputation and less SP have no right to point out such issues on this platform?

By the way, please guide the admins and moderators to not decide everything based on tools alone and analyze some posts manually. And especially some people are still using the GPT2-Output Detector Demo for AI-content detection which is a totally bogus tool and GPT4 has already come out. When will you update yourself?

Lastly, I would like to thank that mysterious steemcurator06 who supported my comment without revealing his/her identity. Or maybe this comment was supported by mistake. Who knows?

I would like to invite @rex-sumon, @steemcurator01, @josevas217, @irawandedy, @stef1, @patjewell, @dove11, @weisser-rabe, @chriddi, @ubongudofot to atleast read this article. 🙂

Good morning! Ew, you're busy! ;-))

Okay. I think you (and I) and many others are chafing at individual cases - which would actually be the task of the Community teams. You have given enough hints.

Beyond that, it is time for some changes - but even watchers or detectives can hardly influence them.

Try to stay relaxed, even if it's annoying: we still have a lot to do ;-))

I suggest the same!

Greetings friend @waqarahmadshah

This is something I have been maintaining for a long time, there are accounts posting through the use of artificial intelligence to make the job easier, however, they have combined this tool with paraphrasing to disguise the result.

I know very well that some don't apply AI content detection tools very well but it is necessary to keep after this content that is only looking for easy rewards.

The recommendation is to use as many tools as necessary to detect any irregularity in a content that generates suspicion.

@steemcurator01, I think it is necessary to go beyond the detectors and allow a judgment or warning by experience "whoever has them" to detect suspicious cases.

Buen trabajo.

Oh my goodness how can I like this post thousand times, this has become a real threat. I mean users are now using AI to create diary games, and they will use the paraphrasing tool to spin it, so that it will not reflect on the detector, and when you warn them, they claim it is inaccuracy on the part of the tool. I mean how will we fight against this big threat.😭

English is easier for me but other languages. I know we can't eliminate them but we'll try. Kudos bro!

But that's not all. There is one more thing called "language diction" that should also be taken into account before making a final decision, and I don't want to go into details about this as I'd be providing ideas to scammers.

I guess enough is said in this but unless the highest authorities listen to you, there is nothing you can do. I have ranted time and again but I know it's not gonna help so I keep it to myself.

Bhai aap ki jakaari ke liye arz kar dun ki bhens ke aage been bajao aur bhens khadi paguraye. I hope you know what I mean.

Although I had no intention of writing this post, the fact that Steemcurator01 cast a vote on her post today compelled me to do so. This also explains the title of my post.

I agree... you are indeed busy.
What I don't agree with is;

not to highlight myself too much as it might not get me support in the future

It is, can influence your support in future.

I've learned in life to rather keep my mouth. As for you, you have the right to say whatever you want and I applaud you for doing just that.
Just the other day we all wrote posts about "freedom". It is also applicable to Steemit.

Well done to SC01 for removing the vote!

Thank you for this clear presentation of clear evidence.

"The very innocent" user has started a powerdown. I suppose it was already on the cards, wasn't it?

That's what fake people are really like...
Just relax, they won't survive.
At the end of the day they will leave like this.

I found this post incredibly informative. Unfortunately, I am very ignorant to all the ways AI can be used to manipulate the system. This was very eye opening for me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
