Waiting for Dusk: Unforgettable Beauty
I looked up at the sky which was slowly changing color. The clock showed 18.00, the time I had been waiting for. Full of hope, I sat on a small hill on the edge of town, waiting for the magical moment when the sun said goodbye.
The sky began to transform, from bright blue to golden orange. The wispy clouds looked like a painting gently drawn by the Creator. The afternoon breeze caressed my face, bringing the scent of earth and fresh leaves after a day of sunshine.
As time went on, the sunlight began to fade, giving the stage to the beautiful colors on the western horizon. Orange, pink, purple and dark blue blend together, creating gradations that are pleasing to the eye. I sighed, feeling so small in the face of nature's greatness.
As the sun sank, silhouettes of trees appeared that stood majestically, as if to accompany the sun back to its bed. The sound of crickets began to be heard, blending with the sound of waves crashing in the distance. Everything felt so peaceful.
Waiting for dusk is not just waiting for the color of the sky to change. This is a moment of reflection, a time where I can reflect and be grateful for how extraordinary nature has created. This beauty is not only to be enjoyed, but also to be appreciated and looked after.
