Every time...

Every time I take the bus home, I pass by a Guangdong herbal tea shop. The owner there is really friendly and knows how to run a business—he greets every customer who comes in or leaves, and even calls out to passersby to invite them in. That’s why I often stop by his shop; it’s become a habit over time.

Today, while waiting for the traffic light on my way home, a man on an electric bike rode past me, stopped, and said he needed to grab a loaf of bread first. He asked me to wait there for a minute, saying he’d be right back to open the shop. It wasn’t until he left that I realized it was the herbal tea shop owner. Since he’d asked, I figured I’d wait—after all, the WeChat mini-program showed the bus was still a while away. He was back in less than five minutes, bread in hand, to open the shop. What a shrewd businessman!

每次回家坐公交都会路过一个广东凉茶铺，那里的老板挺热情的，很会做生意。迎来送往都会打招呼，路人路过也会招呼进来。所以很多时候我都会光顾这家店。久而久之成了一个习惯。今天回家等红绿灯时，一人骑着电动车从我旁边经过，停下来对我说他先去买个面包，让我在那里等他一下，他很快就回去开门。他走了之后我才反应过来是凉茶铺老板。既然他这么说了我也就等着呗，反正微信小程序上面显示公交车还有一段时间才能过来。没五分钟老板就买完面包回来开门了。真是太会做生意了！
