Bireuen District Attorney's Office Destroys Thousands of Pieces of Evidence of Criminal Acts, Narcotics to Illegal Cosmetics.

The Bireuen District Attorney's Office (Kejari) destroyed evidence/confiscated items originating from general narcotics crimes, general crimes against Persons and Property (Oharda), general crimes against State Security and Public Order (Kamnegtibum) and evidence/confiscated items originating from Other General Crimes (TPUL), Wednesday (5/1/2025) at the local Kejari office

The evidence that was destroyed was evidence that had been Inkract or had permanent legal force as decided by the Bireuen District Court.

The evidence was destroyed by burning, crushing and the methamphetamine type narcotics were mixed with water so that they could no longer be used

The Head of the Bireuen District Attorney's Office (Kajari), Munawal Hadi SH MH ensured that the process of destroying this evidence was carried out transparently and accountably.

"All stages from collection to destruction are well documented
this is done to avoid any deviation and misuse of evidence/confiscated goods," he said.

The implementation of the destruction of evidence is part of the duties and authorities of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) as referred to in Article 1 number 6 letters a and b of the Criminal Code, namely in terms of implementing court decisions and implementing judges' determinations.

The evidence/confiscations destroyed include the following:
Evidence/Confiscated Narcotics:
Meth: 6,100 grams (70 cases), Marijuana: 4,300 grams (7 cases), Psychotropic: 196 pills (1 case), Mobile phones: 51 units, Bongs: 11 pieces, Digital scales: 46 pieces, Lighters: 9 pieces, Cigarette boxes: 11 pieces, Clear plastic: 46 sheets, Pyrex glass: 5 pieces, Bamboo clamps: 6 pieces, Scissors: 11 pieces, Gray spoons: 10 pieces, Bags/wallets: 13 pieces, Sharp weapons: 2 pieces and Illegal cosmetics: 1,416 pieces.

Meanwhile, the evidence/confiscations of Oharda Scissors: 1 piece, Key: 1 piece, Machete: 3 pieces, Clothes: 4 pieces, Rope: 14 meters and Ladder: 1 piece.

Evidence/confiscation of Kamnegtibum/TPUL Hose: 1 piece, Flashdisk: 1 piece, Books/Notes: 11 pieces, Clothes: 5 pieces, Underwear: 2 pieces, Simcard: 2 pieces and Mineral rocks: 289 sacks.

The destruction of the evidence was led by the Head of the Bireuen District Attorney's Office (Kajari), Munawal Hadi S.H., M.H, which was attended by elements of the BNN, Forkopimda, District Court and the Chief Justice of the Bireuen Sharia Court.
