Dexter Cows! Half sized normal Breed!

The area where I live is surrounded by many fields, meadows and also fields where cows eat their grass all day long and are often lazy and chewing the grass, enjoying the sun.
A special kind of cows is just around the corner from me. They are Dexter cows. This is a small and stocky cattle breed that is only half the size of "normal" cows!
I always wave at them friendly when passing by, but so far I haven't received any reaction from them. They just keep on eating!
Die Gegend, in der ich wohne, ist umgeben von vielen Äckern, Wiesen und auch Feldern auf denen Kühe ihr Gras den ganzen Tag lang fressen und sich oft faul und wiederkäuend von der Sonne anlachen lassen.
Eine besondere Art von Kühen ist gleich bei mir ums Eck. Es sind Dexter-Kühe. Dies ist eine kleinwüchsige und stämmige Rinderzucht, die nur halb so groß ist wie "normale" Kühe!
Ich winke ihnen beim Vorbeigehen immer freundlich zu, aber bis jetzt hab ich von denen keine Reaktion bekommen. Sie fressen einfach weiter!

That sounds like the size cow I would want should I want one, but I'm thinking they are a beef type cattle - not dairy. I think it's cute that you wave at them, but you should be prepared for the day when they acknowledge you.....video it! You never know......I find animals to be a lot more intelligent than we humans give them credit for! Excellent job with your 10278 @actifit steps today.
