First night of freedom offered up better sleep - an hour or more of mowing in 35C heat and a good dinner with a modest amount of wine might have helped.
The ladies went shopping. I tried the lawnmower - it is dead. Did tidy up all the garden beds and cleared grass from the compost heap. In 35C heat, steps should count double.
My wife organized a special wine tasting at Gundog Estate, one of my favourites.
Hamish acts as the social distancing guide on the bench. Cellar door manager is a long standing friend - we had a blast exploring some special wines. Good to be free to do stuff we always used to do - visit our favourite cellar doors around closing time for a chin wag.
Storm brewing as I was getting ready to bbq dinner.
We only got the edge of it. It soon blew by offering up some great colours
