That, @emergehealthier, could be very true. Kind of 'use it or lose it'. Our schools here in Washington State are closed until 4/27/2020. I can't even begin to imagine the nightmare that's going to create on several fronts. They've closed our libraries for the same amount of time. My son lives down and works Seattle way and it is scary. They are almost at marshall law now. Scary and crazy!

The use it or lose for students is a real thing. Numerous studies have show it happens. They may extend our closure to April 24th, to fall in line with Boston Public Schools.
Aside from concern about students falling back academically, is the concern about feeding them. More than half of Boston's students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Without school meals, many kids will go hungry. The district trying to set up food pick up stations throughout the city.
That is scary that they are almost at marshall law, in Seattle. I will keep you and your family in my prayers during this time uncertainty.
