My Actifit Report Card: March 17 2020

People are supposed to be avoiding social contact. Here in Minnesota the schools are officially closed. As are the museums, every possible place to have fun, such as arcades, trampoline parks, bars, restaurants etc.

I work as a manager at Taco Bell. Our lobby is closed, but our drive-thru is to remain open. It's been this way since we opened yesterday.

We've been cut down to a staff of three people. And the volume of sales has not decreased. So, basically, everyone that would have come inside, is using drive, and sales we would normally have a 6 person crew for are being handled by 3.

We've been yelled at multiple times for having our lobby closed. I'm sorry #Karen and Chad, do you really think the governer works here? The cashier at Taco Bell doesn't make these decisions.

To the point. Go. The fuck. Home. Stop making a point to enfold my little hands in your giant sweaty man mitts. Stop hacking up a lung at my speaker. I want to mace you and your entire car with Lysol.

I've already had and gotten over whooping cough this winter. I get pneumonia and bronchitis nearly every year, as well as bronchial spasms and asthma.

Corvid isn't planning on being kind to people like me. But I'm a single mother of 3, so I go to work and accept as many hours as I can before we get #shelterinplace orders like the bay area.

And that exposes me to selfish pricks going out while sick. Am I afraid of this virus? No, not terribly. I'm more afraid of how this looks for my financial future.

Because guess what? I've developed a cough.
