My Actifit Report Card: March 14 2020

It was chilly and windy today and my son and I played a couple of rounds of disc golf on the eighteen hole course. Part way through the first round a short train came through pushing a caboose on the front of it. I took a couple of pictures of it:

I had not seen a caboose for some time so I thought it was kind of interesting.

After the rounds we went shopping for some toilet paper and other stuff. The shelf was completely clear of all types of soft paper products:

There was a single note reading something about supply issues and hoping we would understand. I thought it made kind of an interesting store photo and sign of the times.

Both of the disc golf rounds we played today were kind of high scoring. (Low scoring is better in disc golf.) The really cool wind is tough to deal with both on keeping your hands warm and placing the throws in the right spot. I don't mind the wind too much but cold hands don't grip well on the discs.

There was only one throw that travelled into the thorny bushes and nothing went into the river. We did manage to get the disc back from the bushes but it was located in an unplayable spot.

The weather is supposed to be a lot warmer tomorrow so I'm looking forward to being out on the course again.
