My Actifit Report Card: November 30 2022

My friends and I played a twenty-hole disc golf course this morning. I won with a +6 to a +10 and +12. Some of the scores might not have been recorded correctly but it was close enough.

It was the first time I had played the course and I had a lot of fun. It is good to try out new courses when you can but I've played a lot of them that are close. This course was a bit of a drive but we carpooled.

The course had some interesting custom baskets on it. This made it more difficult because there were places where you could not easily get the disc in the basket even if you were very close to it. I liked the way it forced you to aim for a tighter area to avoid the cage that was supporting the chains. It did cause a lot more missed putts though.

When we left this morning it had snowed the night before but there was not much snow on the ground where I live. At the disc golf course, there was some snow on a few of the holes. It was just deep enough to hide a disc that might hyzer underneath it. I managed to land flatter and skip over the snow or find some areas that were open when I played the holes. I've had problems playing in the snow before so I was extra cautious. My friends all found their discs in the snow too so it turned out fine. There was only one throw that got buried in the snow but we found it okay.

It might snow again tonight.
