I made a statement on my post about how shitty my day was going in my previous post. I want to thank everyone that checked up on me to know how I'm feeling. I actually feel better now than when I made that post. Thank you so much. Without further ado welcome to my post.
Introduction
I want to appreciate the organizers of this contest which aims to make us flashback on our diary journey.
The aim of this post is to tell you my experience with The diary game as well as benefits, advantages and disadvantages thereof.
what is your Experience in the diary game
So, I have been on the Steemit platform for the past seven month before I wrote my diary post which was nine month ago. My first diary game was in @steemalive and I was quite punctual.
Again, when I started my diary game I didn’t get huge upvote but I was PERSISTENT. The diary game post thought me patience and resilience.
Moving on, I made my first diary post in @steemwomensclub two months ago and I got motivated with the way the women were so committed and embraced everyone. It was on a new level. I have gone from $0.00 to as high as $12.
Patience matters when it comes to writing diary posts.
What are the advantages of the diary game?
- Keeping memories, moments, and records of life events. Have
you ever come across your old diary post and you just smile and those memories come flashing through your mind. The dairy game offers us the advantage of that. - The diary game also helps us to keep our blog timeline busy. Posting them helps to keep us active in the Steemit platform.
- The diary game helps us to generate votes when they come to us from the curator. If a steemcurator visits you and does not find any active post on your blog, you might miss the chance.
- The diary game helps to develop our writing habit. When I started writing my diary post, my first post was less than 300 words,but as I wrote more it has helped develop more and be more constructive. I don’t get stuck thinking of what to write anymore. It has helped me develop as a writer, I can write 2500 words and more.
- The diary game helps to engage with other writers and make friends. When we comment on people’s post, the reply and we engage each other.
What are the disadvantages of the diary game post.
- If one is not very patient and strong-willed, it could discourage us from writing. Diary posts are different from contest posts so most times they get few votes and then you won't get voted on all your post. If you post 20 diary posts in a month and get a peanut vote on just 5or6, you might want to give up.
- Porosity. I have heard this from lots of people about insecurities about putting some personal information on their diary posts, we have to be careful enough to filter our posts.
- Thirdly, I feel repeating daily activities especially if there is no special event to talk about can be boring and exhausting.
Conclusion
Aside from the few disadvantages of the diary game post, I feel like the game has more to it. Besides it is just like you a listen ear close by to you. Just filter your information.

Patience is one of the virtues that we must test in this environment, things do not happen when we want them to. The diary game has opened a door to new ways of seeing things and writing them, who would have thought that this dynamic would remain active, even though it has been two years since its creation.
