SV-PowerUp | 102 Steem Power Boost

I started my workday today by compiling assessment reports from the survey conducted by the enumerator team on the extent of damage to the homes of victims of hydrometeorological disasters. I entered each victim’s personal information along with documentation of their home’s condition and determined the damage criteria based on the final score from the assessment scheme. I then entered this data into a dedicated link on Google Forms so it could be compiled into a comprehensive report later.

During a break in my work, I grabbed a drink and picked up my smartphone; since it was Wednesday, I logged into my account and, of course, did a Power Up to boost my energy.

Power Up Process

Look at my profile, initially the amount of Steem Power (SP) I have is 241 SP

Going to my Wallet, it shows that I have 932.244 Steem

Then I want to Power Up by choosing the available option

Then I was directed to enter the nominal value of Steem, I wrote down the amount of 102 that will be Power Up

And for that I also need to confirm the Transfer to Vesting amount of 102 Steem

Then I was in the final step of completing the transfer process by entering my Active Key

Finally now the amount I have has been reduced to 830.244 Steem only

Power Up has been successful, which can be seen from the amount of Steem Power I have to 343 SP

The Importance of Performing Power Up

I am very grateful to be a user who continues to actively grow my Steemit account, and I think the knowledge of the benefits of doing Power Ups needs to be shared to encourage more users to do so, especially those who have just joined the platform. Don't think too much about how much Steem is converted into your Steem Power, the most important thing is to do the Power Up activity itself, because it affects:

1. Account Strength
   With increased account strength, the trust of many other users is also getting higher, including from community administrators to curators. Users who regularly do Power Ups have directly shown their commitment to continue to be active on the platform which will lead them to the path to getting greater rewards.

2. Steem Coin Value
   One of the supporting factors for the stability of the Steem value or even its increase is the amount of Steem invested into Steemit user accounts in the form of Steem Power, this is a real contribution from users to maintain the credibility of the platform which will increase the trust of the market, making it very possible for a positive trend for the growth of the Steem Coin.

3. Club Status
   A rule in contests held in many communities requires participants to be at least in the Club5050, which illustrates that club status is a consideration for assessing a post, so that more Steem Power Ups made will help users themselves by being in a higher club and giving a good impact on reputation.
