Abstract

This engagement contest has been an absolute success since the first contest was dropped. I have never engaged this much in my 1 year on Steemit. I spent the whole of yesterday reading and commenting on interesting posts I came across. The Steemit team have really outdone themselves with this one. The greatest fear right now is taking time to write posts which might end up with $0.00. We just hope that would never happen.

Intro

This is the 2nd day of the Steemit Engagement Contest and this is my second contest entry. Today we would be looking at those friends you have made or met on Steemit which you would love to see. As for me I have numerous people I would love to see but based on priority. I would be talking about three friends of mine whom I met on Steemit and would love to see in reality. Let's get started.

The four of us together are the decentralized bloggers although our main focus is Steemit. We help each other out, share our wins and losses, contests and help correct each other's mistakes inorder to achieve our goals of being notable and great decentralized bloggers like the likes of Trafalgar, cryptokannon and so on. We also motivate each other when things are not going our way but the sad truth is that I have not met any of them in real life.

How I met Three of Them

@victoh78 - We first spoke in one of our university group chats. He later sent me a private message asking me if there was anyway he would make legitimate money as his crypto trades had consecutively ended in numerous losses so I introduced him to Steemit and assisted him in the process of making his account.

@ronindboss - He opened a Steemit account by himself but soon after he didn't know what to do. During that period, I was a campus captain in the campus connect community so he came to me for assistance. I assisted him through the Steemit do's and don't's together with his achievement posts.

@weasell - The young prodigy⭐. As a former mod in the campus connect community, I helped alot of people without really knowing them of which he was one of them. When I say helped in this context, I mean both in encouragement and even leaving encouraging comments on their posts. Then I wasn't able to steem for a while and I came back to see that the young prodigy had already reached my reputation and even won best #fbcrypto post twice in one month.

What I Admire About Them

• He is very Optimistic: I happen to be a pessimistic person so I tend to give up easily. That is one of the reasons why I always surround myself with optimistic people and he is one of them.

• He is a really Skilled Writer: When it comes to content, creativity and interesting posts, he is the king in that aspect. When he puts in his best effort, nothing can stop him. I also have alot to learn from him.

• He is a Crypto Wizard: I mentioned that in the past he had some trouble with trading but after a few months of honing his crypto skills, I can say he is top class. I often come to him for lessons from time to time since my crypto knowledge isn't too great.

@ronindboss

• He is resilient: No matter the situation or condition, his stubborn nature always allows him to never give up especially when the goal is attainable. I have looked at certain contests and given up on the spot but then I would see him start the contest and do it to the best of his ability. This also motivates me to push ahead.

• He is very observant: Attimes I even call him a stalker🤣. He spends most his time exploring new communities, contests and lots more like changes in community rules. He would fit perfectly as a Plagiarism mod. He shares these updates with us on the group hence we are always up to date on Steemit happenings.

@weasell

• He is studious: He spends his time reading and learning new things. You can testify to his knowledge prowess by visiting his page. Diverse high quality posts back to back.

• He is a Great Observer: He sees an opportunity when other see none. He studies the curators and know the kinds of posts they want to see, he puts his heart into the posts. These you can even witness from reading his posts. He was able to enter the last week of the crypto academy trading competition and he won the top 3 spot for that week from his first week in the crypto academy.

• He is also a great crypto wizard: He analyzes cryptocurrencies which have potential and invests wisely. He also helps people to trade if they have the capital but lack the adequate knowledge to trade.

I would love to meet all of them so we can put heads together, share ideas, achieve greater heights and make money. Plus who wouldn't want to meet awesome and interesting people like them. They are also funny and help out whenever I have a problem or need help with something. These are the kind of friends I look forward to meeting not just the ones who would cause you sadness and only want to profit with you without offering anything in return. Some people fail to differentiate between an acquaintance and a friend hence you hear things like "He has lots of friends" meanwhile the word friend has a deeper meaning.

As I said earlier there were other people I would love to meet see in real life so let me take this opportunity to mention two more people by the name @whitestallion for his impeccable leadership qualities and his goal oriented mindset. He doesn't give up at any point in time.
The second one goes to @zekea, although he isn't too active because of the crypto academy absence, he made me work harder seeing as he got top 3 almost every week in the academy beginners/intermediate level. His posts were top notch and we had like a competition for who would emerge on the top. Ofcourse he won though, I stood no chance but it was fun and really made me put more efforts into making posts.

I have come to accept the fact that we as steemians need one another to grow high, stronger and individually. I am here today because of the numerous trials and errors, friends who were there to lend a helping hand and the people and community moderators that were there to correct me and lead me in the right direction. I hope my readers have that special friend whom they would love to use in partaking in this contest.
