Tips for maintaining health during Ramadan
Dear friends, admins, and all moderators of our beloved community. May we always be under His protection!
Muslims around the world are currently observing a special religious practice during the month of Ramadan, namely fasting during the day. Fasting itself involves abstaining from food and drink and anything that breaks the fast from dawn to sunset. While fasting, core activities such as working to earn a living and so on are still carried out. Therefore, good health is essential for working hard, especially during Ramadan.
Due to the many changes in lifestyle during this month of fasting, from irregular sleep patterns, restricted eating and drinking, to daily activities that cannot be neglected, routines such as work and other essential activities must still be carried out, and should not become a barrier to fasting during Ramadan. Therefore, maintaining good health during this month is crucial for being able to worship and carry out activities as usual.
Maintaining good health during Ramadan is crucial to maintaining a healthy and fit body. Here are some tips for maintaining health during Ramadan:
1. Eat nutritious food during suhoor and iftar
Of course, maintaining health during Ramadan means enjoying suhoor and breaking the fast with foods containing complex carbohydrates, protein, and fiber for long-lasting energy, such as fresh foods, fruits, and so on.
2. Drink enough water
Drinking enough water is essential for good health, especially during Ramadan. Due to our activities exposed to the sun during the day, our bodies sweat profusely. Therefore, it's important to replenish this water during iftar and suhoor by drinking plenty of water.
3. Maintain a sleep pattern
Because many acts of worship must be performed at night during Ramadan, maintaining and regulating sleep patterns as well as possible is also very important for health. Perform your acts of worship as well as possible, and don't neglect your sleep patterns.
4. Exercise
The month of Ramadan is no barrier to exercise, whether it's light exercise early in the morning or more vigorous exercise at night, like playing futsal. The goal is simply to sweat to achieve physical and mental health.
5. Maintaining Mental Health
Not only physical health, but mental health is also very important, especially during this month of Ramadan. Therefore, we must avoid anger, depression, and so on. And the most important thing to maintain mental health is to increase sincere and devout worship, both day and night.
Therefore, with Ramadan only a few days away, let's fill it with worship that is based on physical and spiritual health.
Dear friends, that concludes my presentation for today. I welcome your suggestions and comments. Please forgive me for any errors in this post. Wassalam.
