In this part of the world, and using Nigeria as an example, you feel and see the pressure mounting on a 26 (upwards) years of age individual that is not in a relationship. The kind of pity look that would be given to such a person is enough to make such a person think there is a spiritual attack somewhere.
When society dictates how you feel, you endure what you are not supposed to endure. This is why the rate of domestic violence seems to be getting higher. They don’t want to leave because they are not sure what society will say about them. It is sad.
Make your choice and stick with it. If you are single, be happy at it. It is a process. Don’t just jump on the next available person, because you might regret it. Life is in stages, and as long as you desire it, you will have it. It calls for you being sensitive and knowing why you are doing what you are doing. If you are motivated from your inside and not by what the society dictates, the better. Don’t allow anyone to see you as abnormal for being single. Being single is by choice and you should love it while you are at it.
You should be happy and not sad because you are single
You are perfectly normal so, join the party and mingle
I would gladly offer you a lot of Pringles
While in your single state I will make you a jingle
We can all laugh about it because there is nothing wrong with you
Taking your time to get it right has nothing wrong with it
Never let the world tell you who you are not
You are single, yes, they can’t deal with it?
All the better, since they won’t be the one in it

😀 You nailed it on the head man! Many people jump into relationships because of other people’s criticism and those relationships doesn’t last long because there is no love there may be lust probably but it doesn’t make a good and happy couple. If one knows that they are not ready for a relationship then lock up instead of putting themselves in what they can’t handle. Being single is not a disease It is a choice. Cool post man.
