Stay tuned for the Uganda Steem Meet-up – preparations for the diary game season 2

I am organizing a Uganda Steem meet-up scheduled to take place on 25th /07/2020. It is happening over this weekend, morning time from 10 am-12 pm, Ugandan time. I have so far managed to recruit 11 new users in Uganda as mentioned in my steem greet report-2 These new users need more mentorship and guidance. They are currently like babies who need to be taken good care of in these beginner stages of their steem journeys.

Since we are not so many, we can be able to meet-up even in this time of the nation’s lock-down.

The fortunate part is that most Ugandan newbies have managed to create their first introductory posts under my guidance. Unfortunately, most of them are currently inactive even though they managed to make some good rewards on the 1-2 posts they published.

The challenge is in keeping these more engaged on the steem chain. I am going to be encouraging them to participate in thelucky10s, hope they will turn out to be lucky and collect some upvotes from @steemcurator01 for their valuable engagement with other users.

I recently created a Whatsapp group and added all of them in order to keep track of them. I am always posting links to some great updates from @steemitblog so that they check them out and try to participate in the various contests announced by the steem team. Most of them seem not to respond to them. I have realized that they still have a challenge of posting and commenting on steemit and I seek to resolve this challenge.

During the meet-up, I am going to teach them how to post, applying tags, and how to engage valuably with other steemians through commenting on their posts. More so on theshoppinggame posts. They need to make friends, build up followers who will keep supporting their blogs.

I am also going to be informing them about the incoming diary game season 2 as I prepare them to participate in it effectively and actively. During the meet-up, I will be selecting my team of 5 users so that we compete passionately and effectively in the incoming 1000daysofsteem challenges that will be run by the steem team.

I am therefore calling upon every new Ugandans on steemit to comment on this post as a confirmation of their attendance of this incoming meet-up that is scheduled to take place over this weekend.
