Cameroon’s Triumph Over China Raises Hope and Questions.

The early hours of today started on a calm note as many of us eased into the Easter holiday mood. Still, that quiet atmosphere quickly gave way to excitement as Cameroon faced the People’s Republic of China in an international friendly that kept fans glued to their screens.

Coming into this match, expectations were mixed. The previous friendly against Austria exposed serious weaknesses in the squad, with Cameroon looking unusually vulnerable and lacking cohesion. That defeat did not just hurt on the scoreboard, it sparked heavy criticism online, especially directed at coach David Pagou.
