The Diary Game 3 : BetterLife with Steem (4/11/2022)
Greetings fellow steemitians, it has been 2 days of blackouts and the reason for my inactiveness on the platform. But thank God, life is gradually moving towards the right path. I wake up from bed with a call to inform us that grandma was sick and hiding from us. I had to put everything in order in my house and prepared the kids to go to grandma’s place.
We took a cab and arrived at grandma’s place and everywhere was locked. We knocked on the door for several minutes and no response. Little did we know she was laying down restless and unable to answer. My phone battery was dead and I was also certain that grandma’s phone was also off since the whole town witnessed power outage.
I saw papaye at grandma’s place and I had to harvest some to eat while waiting if she could respond or come back home. I peeled the papaye and ate with my kids. Thank goodness, there were plates and knife she washed and kept outside to get dry. We ate the papaye and decided to knock the door again.
The papaye I harvested at grandma’s place.
As I was approaching the door to knock, she opened the door and felt back on the couch. At first I was scared that the situation might be critical and needed hospital. I started wondering how I will cope with the kids and her. I asked her if we should go to the hospital, she refused and said, she will be fine. She is a high blood patient and for some time she has not been taking her treatment serious.
I had to warm water for her to bath because I realized it has been 2 days and she has not bath. Later, I had to prepare porridge potatoes for her to eat and take her afternoon medications. This is someone that whenever you are sick, she will say food is the number one medicine. But now she does not want to eat and I had to force her like a baby to eat to no avail.
While the meal was on the cooker, I was feeling hungry and I took bread from the house, put chocolate and mayonnaise in it to eat. After eating, I took a cold drink from the fridge to chill.
In the late evening hours, I had to make sure grandma eats and took her medicine. Since we were still experiencing blackouts, we had to go to bed early while hoping that electricity will be back before dawn. Thank you for reading.

Saludos y bendiciones. Espero que tú abuela se recupere pronto y que la luz no siga fallando. Eso es terrible con las personas mayores. Me imagino tu preocupación.
Thank you for supporting my post. We all hope that grandma should recover soon.
seguro que si amiga
Thank God you responded immediately, grandma's nest is empty and like everyone she craves attention. May be you'll have to surrender the most mature of your kids to go and stay with her so she doesn't feel so lonely. Your snacks have my mouth all watery. And the meal is just something else
