Compliment of the season, beautiful members of @steem Cameroon, I hope everyone is doing well as we are drawing close to the end of 2025. I'm @destinedhanik and I'm here to tell you how my day went as I witnessed Mbo day in Christmas village. In my state, Akwa Ibom state, every December is set aside for the 31 local governments to showcase their culture and it is done alphabetically, so, while I didn't plan to go witness Mbo day, but I and my colleagues went to Christmas village and we stumbled on it and I really enjoyed watching it as I learnt a little about their culture.

In the morning , I woke up at 5:30am as usual and prepared for work. I had to look for what to eat as it's not easy to go to work on an empty stomach . I ate garri and Atama soup for breakfast. I arrived at my work place before 7am and by 8am, the bell was rang for morning devotion, so we all gathered at the assembly hall to pray and commit the day to God.

The song rehearsal took place first and after that, the drama rehearsal which took place from morning to afternoon.

In the afternoon at about 2pm, we left in the school bus for Christmas village. This was a way of marketing our school to the public.

Heading back to school

In the evening, I headed out again to see my friend whom I haven't seen since the beginning of this year, so we talked and took a shot together.
