Club100.The Diary Game: A day at the Independent Conciliators Office (12/10/2022)
MORNING
I woke up as early as 4am to edit some stuff on the motivation letter and the application I was to process and drop at the independent Conciliator for the North west of Cameroon. They have their legal backing from Law NO 2019/24 of 24 December 2019 to institute the general code of regional and local authorities.
- First page of NO 2019/24 of 24 December 2019 to institute the general code of regional and local authorities*
The creation of the office of the independent Conciliator was one of the recommendations of the major national Dialogue that was held to find a solution to the Anglophone Crisis. Many don't even know this institution exist.
The institution has a mission to ensure fairness between the regional and local authorities and also to settle disputes between individuals, the populations and the local and regional collectivities.
I Ended up reading just the code and the law bringing it into existence. I wanted to master everything about the institution so as not to be surprised with questions that I don't know.
At 7.30am, I had to rush to the shop to make things snappy and leave for the independent Conciliator at 11am.
When I got to the shop, I displayed the various items in their various positions before going to sit down.
I tried to finish what I was supposed to do at 4am. I wrote the motivation letter on a piece of paper and finally typed it using my phone to save time. Just about when I was about done with typing, I received some customers with whom we exchanged greetings and I eventually sold some dresses and shoes
The dresses i sold.
Remember All stemian are invited to the shop where steem is accepted in exchange for goods and services.
Before I realized it, it was already 10:40am. I hurriedly left the shop and headed home. I printed the Necessary documents i needed on my way home so as to just leave the house and go straight to Upstation where the office of the independent Conciliator for the North west is.
I did not waste anymortime when I got home. I put on my dresses and went to get a taxi at conners. You hardly meet a taxi ready to go immiediately. They will still be trying to carry more than they are supposed to carry and by this, They will be harrased by the police.
Some of their colleagues don't pay a dime at the check points because they Cary the normal load and are allowed to work the whole day without settling a dime.
AFTERNOON
12:20 pm, I was at the office of the independent Conciliator. The guards in the vicinity are too many and so it was difficult to take some photos. I went right inside and an old man received me at the reception. I handed my documents to him and went further to Ask for Barister Yang who works there. The old man asked me to stay put for him to finish registering the documents I brought before taking me to his office. When he was done, He took me to Barister Yang's Office and unfortunately he was not on seat.

I left and contacted a few friend so we could go for launch. We were heading to the achu joint opposit customs office. Unfortunately they have been sent away by the government so we had to look for another restaurant to eat.
we were serve fufu and kati kati.
Fufu and kati kati
I enjoyed my meal and when we were done eating, I headed to the regional delegation of Transport to meet my elder brother.
Transport office
I was abit confused when I got there as their office had been relocated. I called and he came around and took me to office. I spent time there with him until it was closing time. We left together and went down to town.
EVENING
5pm, I was already in a taxi going back to Bambili. at Bambili, I went to negotiate with the person to print the steemit T.shirts for steem Cmeroonians. I was to supply the t- shirts and he was to print on them.
Logo to be used
proposals were made on the logo that will be used and when he saw them, we agreed on the price and I left his place and went home. It was a tiring day as I had no time to even relax.
BY 9pm, I was already sleeping from too much tiredness.
