The Diary Game Season 3 [ Sunday December 14th, 2025 ] A busy sunday, while watching football

It is another Sunday after being preoccupied with offline assignments. I had to travel out of town, walk into some offices, and meet different people. It was a great experience for me to see how my country works. Going into certain places helps you understand how protocol is observed and how things are done properly.

It was time to return to the online space and continue having the fun I have been enjoying. I woke up on Sunday morning full of energy, with a number of tasks to catch up on. I wanted to make sure I had enough time later in the day to watch the different exciting games.

I decided to start work with my client early. Fortunately for me, he was also absent from church. We stayed on a long call, so long that I had to take my breakfast while working. It was fried Irish potatoes and eggs. I couldn’t really concentrate on eating because I had to keep responding and giving directives to my client. We had a long session before finally separating.

After that, I jumped into other tasks, including preparing receipts for payments made by my clients the previous day.

Later in the day, it was time to watch the Manchester City game against Crystal Palace. As an Arsenal fan, my interest is not really to watch other teams lose, but to observe their form, especially after our poor performance the previous day. While Manchester City sat in second place, their performance wasn’t scary to me, as Crystal Palace looked like a shadow of itself.

Lunch was ready, and I served myself. I ate while watching the Turkish Super Lig match between Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş. It was an interesting game, with six goals, three on each side. At the same time, the Cameroon Cup was ongoing. Since I’m not very familiar with the teams playing, I didn’t bother watching that match.

To end my day, I watched the Real Madrid game. There has been a lot of talk on social media about sacking the coach. It has been a difficult period for the team, as performances have dropped and they have not been getting the expected results. Since the information is not confirmed, I honestly don’t know whether the sacking rumors are coming from the fans or from management.

Managing teams has become very challenging in Europe. Coaches can be sacked at any time. The moment results stop coming, calls for the coach to be fired begin. Football can’t always be a win-win game. One single mistake can push a team into a series of losses. Many teams have gone through this recently, Liverpool, Chelsea, and even Barcelona two seasons ago.

Well, it was a good result, and three points were achieved. It may still not be satisfying enough for the fans, but I don’t think their opinions will count much for now, because the league still has a long way to go.
