Creative Writing. ARE YOU A BOSS TO SERVE OR TO BE SERVED?
Hi fellow steemit friends! How was our day? It is Sunday and i know we're busy with our families putting things together before the new working week begins.
It is a common phenomenon to hear people complain of their bosses. Most of these comments are not the best and when you look at it critically some bosses really don't know their limits. When power is given to some people they misuse and abuse it.
I have come to realize that most bosses are there to intimidate their subordinates instead of guiding them and leading by example. If those who are under you are failing in their duties, it is because you as their boss have failed in your own duty to train them.
Some bosses go to an extend of destroying the image and reputation of their colleagues working under them. The worst treatment from bosses comes in when they see you as a threat to their position. So instead of leading they're ruling and protecting their positions.
Some of the reasons why some people are not being hired into companies is because some of these bosses don't submit their job application files to job providers or employers. Most of these files end up in a trashcan.
My prayer is that you reading this post should never be such a boss. Such people don't last in their positions as leaders because God is not happy with the way they treat humans.
Bosses should learn from the example of Jesus Christ to serve and not to be served. Thanks for reading.
It a nutshell, we should be a leader and not a boss. Leader knows how to deal with people in different circumstances and a boss commands and pass orders... Thanks for your post
This is true but it's not 100% true because some subordinates fail in their duties because;
Well I think the reason why most terrible bosses behave like this, is due to fear for loosing their position. Because people go through thick and thin to get to high ranking positions and knowing well that being nice to subordinates can make them take you for granted. So being hard on others is the only choice they have.
I pray we be great bosses tomorrow and make a change.

Hahaha I don't understand what you mean by boss sir do you mean a leader or a boss as in manager?
