Annyeong!!!

So I heard Cameroon and South Korea had a friendly match today against the world cup in November and they won🤔. Oh well, this would have been my 1 chance to go to South Korea and practice this new language I'm learning but there will be other time.

That aside, let's continue with our hangul lesson. We have looked at hangul vowels and hangul consonants. But today's class will be korean words you didn't know you already knew. Those words are actually called loanwords and konglish words.

The loanwords are those that were taken from english and spelled in hangul so they have almost same pronouciation and same meaning. While the konglish words are those that english speakers may not know the meaning immediately because they are not exactly like the English words. Soooo let's begin with the easy part

Sooo, those are 20 korean words you actually knew but you're just finding out you knew them now. Let's look at just 10 konglish words. As I said they are not exactly like the English meaning as the case with loan words.

So who borrowed words words from who now 😃. I tried pronouncing the new words and the similarities are wonderful. I've watched some Japanese films but I've never made out these words.
