Last time we started listing fun and cheap hobbies everyone can try but only listed 6. I promised to give the remaining 6 in another post and here we are. Before we continue, you can check the first post right here...

7. VOLUNTEERING HOBBIES;

Considering volunteer stuff as a hobby isn't for everyone BUT you can definitely enjoy it during your free time plus it also has a couple of benefits. You know that it always feels nice to be able to give back again when it concerns something that matters to you and you can always make new friends from the group of volunteers.

You can be chanced to do a volunteer work at say maybe where where you would someday love to work and you'd see that it is exactly the next best thing to being an employee there. Also, volunteering will help develop some new skills which can add to boosting your resume.

8. ART RELATED HOBBIES;

Depending on whatever medium you use, most of these artistic hobbies can be actually cheap. You'll be needing a few brushes, probably paint, pencils and those things should last for at least a couple of few months.

If you don't want to buy stuffs, then you can design graphics on a computer if you have one. There are a good number of free programs available or you may pay for those you like. Well you can go back to the very basics and find adult coloring books to pass time.

9. CAMPING AS A HOBBY;

Camping they say is a great hobby you can pair with hiking plus and it's a bit less expensive compared to other vacations and honestly it's sometime I'll definately try someday.

For complete beginners like me we need a tent, firewood offcourse,a sleeping bag and whatever you need to start a fire. I don't know how much a tent or sleeping bag cost but it's probably not super expensive. For the fire, maybe you can get some branches and twigs around your campsite so just get a lighter to start the fire.

You already know you'll need to come with your own food unless you plan to fish or hunt which by the way I don't even how possible that is but in all you'll general use the simple recipes and you're good to go. It's sounds like a lot of fun to with someone if available so just ask and again with someone else coming, you may not need to spend much and you get to use that opportunity to see if you like the whole experience before spending on quality lasting materials.

10. MUSIC HOBBY;

This has to be my favorite cause I already love music a lot. Maybe you've been wanting to learn an instrument like piano or violin or guitar? Well now's the time and you don’t really need a private tutor except you prefer it that way. Soooo many tutorials are very available only even for beginners free of charge. All you need to do is buy whatever instrument you want to learn or see if you can get one on borrow one before deciding to buy one. For me, a guitar is one thing I'll definately need to learn and buy eventually added to a piano which I think is basic for music lovers. Yeah🤔 now that I think of it, beginning a hobby like this can be quite expensive to get the instrument.

11. FITNESS HOBBIES;

I'm on and off with this one😂 but exercising is a really nice hobby or perhaps habit to grow. It's going to help you get a good physical plus mental shape, which you already know provides a good amount of benefits.

You don’t even need a gym for this but its up to you I don't even know how much it costs since I've never been to one much less paid for it. So you could get your own items and do the exercises at home and don't forget your mat for yoga, some won't even need equipments. There are too many free workouts available on YouTube and the best I prefer are the apps you can download on your phone totally free of charge. That reminds I need to download one and start over🤭.

12. ORGANIZATIONAL HOBBIES;

This shouldn't sound strange to you oh because once you get into decluttering, it may become addicting. There are even businesses around that help people declutter or tidy up. You might even consider listing some of those old things on an online market if you have a lot. Again, it'll create more space at your place. My mom needs this one sef all those papers packed at the house which I bet are never going to be useful needs to be burned. All those empty containers you're packing just burn them...

It's very possible none of the hobbies above suits you, then I'd say ask your friends or family for better ideas. They maybe have other interesting hobbies you'd like to learn. They can help you reduce cost by borrowing some of their stuff or you can do the hobbies together.

What are hobbies?

Yeah sorry I didn't quite explain what a hobby is so it can be anything at all that you enjoy doing frequently. If there's something you do often that you consider relaxing, fun or enjoyable then yes that's a good example of a hobby.
