The Diary Game: Celebrating 15 years Of Blissful Marriage/ My Diary For Today 09-01-2026

I am celebrating 15 good years of marriage with my husband today and it's been God all the way. I woke up today with a heart filled with joy that God has taken us on this journey for 15 good years and even when it's not just bed of roses, we have been choosing each other despite everything we face.

Let me just give you guys a brief history of how I met my darling husband and I think it will interest you. So, I met my husband 2010 and though I never really liked fair people back then, I don't even know what gave me an impression that fair people were bad people. He came as a friend, you know we became besties because I just wanted to friend zone him and all of that because I didn't really want to have anything serious with him.

Fate can be very funny at times, when I lost my job and wanted to go back to the village to start all over again, he was the one that stepped in, I mean even the people that were always there, none of them were there for me. He said he was going to find a job for me, a job that will give me the time to further my education. I thought he was joking because then he had plans to travel to Burkina Faso. He called me and asked me to come over to his place and get something, ignorant me was thinking I would go and get foodstuffs because that was what I wanted as at that time.

When I went there, he handed a job employment letter to me to work with Setraco. He had people in high places then so he was able to pull the strings. I was so over excited that I jumped and kissed him without even knowing. It was after kissing him that I knew what I did, I rushed back home and he called that night to apologise. I didn't even see the need for that because I was the one that caused it. I resumed the job and he travelled out. We kept in touch and not after he came back home that year to celebrate the new year. He proposed to me and honestly I had already fallen in love with him and I accepted and we went to the alter to do the needful.

It's been a rollercoaster of good feelings, tears and every thing in-between but we have chosen each other long enough to give up on ourselves. The empire we are building is for us and not for any other person. That was just the brief story of how I met my husband and got married to the most handsome man I have ever seen. That being said, I went to go and weave my hair today because I was looking bushy.

When I finished, I came back home and peeled pawpaw so that we eat. When I finished, I took my bath and then I went to take my nap because my husband told me not to come to the shop as he would be in the shop. He told me to rest for the day.

In the evening, when I woke up, I took my kids to the shop, we went there and stayed a little while then I told my daughter to carry the pepper in the shop so that I can tie them. When she took it, I snapped them this picture. And we got back home.

I was busy in the evening preparing dinner for my husband and kids to eat. I treated my husband to a very sumptous meal today because he really deserves it. Thank You Lord for another year you have added to my marriage, I am so grateful to you. We will be counting hundred years together.
