The Diary Game:[28/03/26]Laundry day and a small shopping spree

Saturdays around here are something else,especially when it comes to laundry. My neighbors take it very seriously, so I had to wake up early and try my luck at getting space on the line. But somehow, the more I washed, the more they washed, too. It quietly turned into a competition for who would grab the best spot first. After going back and forth for a while, I finally managed to hang my clothes. I was tired, but honestly, I felt proud of myself for pulling it off.

By the time I finished everything, I was already worn out. Still, there were more chores waiting, so I pushed through, wrapped things up, freshened up, and finally sat down to rest. I picked up my phone, scrolling through for updates while thinking about what to eat.

That’s when I checked the kitchen and realized I was seriously low on food. There was barely anything to cook with, and my stomach was already complaining. So I quickly got ready and headed to the nearby market to stock up on what I needed.

On getting back, I was ready to start cooking my sweet potatoes and spinach sauce. But immediately I stepped in, the bulb went out. Just like that,darkness. At that point, I could only laugh.

I had to step out again to buy a new bulb. Fixing it was another story on its own. Climbing up to sort it out wasn’t easy,I almost slipped at some point but thankfully, I managed to fix it. Light came back, and everything felt normal again.

After that little adventure, I finally settled down to cook and made a really satisfying meal. Cleaned up, relaxed for a bit while watching my favorite channel, and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.

When I woke up, it was already late. I brought in my clothes,ironed and folded them nicely. As for dinner, I didn’t even have the energy to cook again, so I just ate the leftover potatoes from earlier. And honestly, that was enough for me. I called it a day and stayed far away from the kitchen after that.
