The Diary Game: |17/12/2025| Going To Work And Appreciating My Driver

Hi friends, how are you all holding up? It's midweek already my friends. Today, I couldn't go to work early because I needed to get something done at home before I move to work. When I got there, my colleagues were in the boardroom, so I joined them after I had signed the time book.

The agenda for today's meeting was how to award all the staff's. A certain amount of money was mentioned that it was for the staff's, we all raised our opinion and they went for the best option then I called the driver that I was done with my meeting. He asked me to give him some time that he will be coming because he took the van to go and fuel it.

When he came, we packed out goods inside and then went to go and supply. A very sunny day it was today. I told him that we weren't going a far distance today again, just around the Uyo, specifically the Urban area where we haven't you h for a period of time now. We went on and did our first round of supplies that lasted from morning till afternoon.

When we finished, I asked him to hold on so we can rest before going to the warehouse to get the second batch of products. After we finished resting, we went to the warehouse again and loaded it up with another set of products and came out again for supplies.

We supplied till 4pm and we were able to clear the van. For that, I took .y delivery to the eatery on our way back to the office and bought milky doughnut for us to eat asa thank you offer for all he has been doing. Because I think these drivers are not appreciated enough, they are the backbone of of our job and without them, I don't think we would be going out for anything.

When we finished, I asked him to take us back to the office so I could sign out for the day and go back home. When we got to the office, I asked him to go while I waited for the HR and also for my HOP to remind them.ov the occasion I have on Thursday. I waited till late evening when they came and then they granted me the permission before I went b k home.

When I got back home, I took my bath and I ate my dinner. I couldn't eat much because the doughnuts I ate earlier was even enough to take me for dinner. Then I went outside to sit where fresh air can touch me so that I can write my diary.
