The Diary Game - Defending our Honour against the Entertainers

Saturday was another jaw-dropping, eye-widening, heart-thumping football encounter for my friends @thegreens @fombae and the rest of our Entrepreneur friends as we defended our honour against some of the Entertainers of the North West Region.

If you have been following my blog, you probably know that a few years ago a few friends of mine and I came together to create what we have today as the Abakwa Entrepreneurs FC and we've since then been playing a lot of games together, including an Aller-Retour Vs some of the Entertainers from the North West Region during which we won them on aggregate. So a few weeks back, they wrote to us requesting for another aller-retour encounter so they can show us that they are unbeatable now and Saturday was set as the date for this encounter.

So on Saturday, I woke up as usual pretty early very well refreshed as I'd decided to sleep early in anticipation of this particular game as we too had decided that we would show them that their elder brothers will always be their elder brothers.

By 8AM, I was at the office to clear a few tasks off my table from that morning so that I could concentrate on the game for the rest of my day. We all then left and drove to the field by 10AM where we joined with the rest of our team and started to put together our game plan for the match

@thegreens took charge to lead our team in pre-match warm ups as we gave our opponents a preview of the kind of people they were gearing up to face.

I was also very happy to see @wyzcekunited as the referee for the game. I wasn't excited because I thought he would favour me ohh!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I was excited because having played in a couple of games he has referred, I can hapilly say I know a young man who takes his passion seriously and is growing to be a well known and professional FIFA referee someday 👏👏👏

But I must say that, @wyzcekunited wrongfully cancelled 3 of my goal chances which were clearly not offsides. 😡😡😡 We go meetup fr quarter boy.

We had an exciting game which ended on a draw 4 -4 with me scoring 2 goals for our team as I moved up to the CF position in the second half.

Anyway, as is customary with these games, right after the very intensive match, we all headed to a nearby bar where we had our refreshments, discussions and lots of merry-making. Suffice to say we had a lot of fun.

My friend Mayor who wears #17 shirt like me was selected by our Captain as the Best player for the Entertainers and he was so excited 🤣🤣🤣

@peacemakers was the animator of the day naturally as he's the very best in this.

On our own team, @njiatanga was selected as the best player for his excellent play and show of amazing discipline and peace.

We had such an amazing time, sharing and networking and I stole the opportunity to talk to the Entertainers and more Entrepreneurs about the opportunities that lie on steemit and why they need to join right away. We then separated around 6 PM where I rushed to Biberon at Foncha to take 1 for the road with some friends and then rushed home to crash for the day.
