The Groom With His Crew

Marriage is an institution ordained by God our creator, marriage is a beautiful and lovely union which is meant for everyone here on earth but the changes societal value and norms as made marriage in such a that people now choose whether they want it or not.
But no matter what how society may frame it, I still stand to accept the work of the originator of marriage which is God.

Genesis chapter 2:18 and I quote

Then the Lord God said,"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is like him."

That same Genesis 2 from verse 21 outline how a woman was created through a man's ribs and brought to a man,

Genesis 2:21-25;

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and he slept. God took one of his ribs and closed the flesh at that place.
Verse 22, Then the Lord God made the rib he had taken from the man into a woman and brought her to a man.
Verse 23; And the man said: This one, at last, is bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called woman, for she was taken from man.
Verse 24; This is why a man leave his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh.
Verse 25; Both the man and his wife were naked, yet felt no shame.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-11

Verse 9; Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts.
Verse10; For if either falls,his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.
Verse 11; Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm?

The importance of marriage cannot be overemphasized because God the originator had already made it to be very good in his sight.

But in this present age especially the GenZ generation has made marriage to be water down from what it was ordained. Kudos to everyone who still respect God principles of marriage and keep it firm.

So, my brother and colleague has taken a bold step to tie the knot with love of his life, it has been a series of arrangements preparation financial involvement for both parties.

Early in the morning I woke up around 6:30am observed my morning prayer before I went outside for my morning chores after I finished with my morning chores I began to prepare to attend my colleague marriage whom our part crossed during youth service year and we have been keeping the friendship until now.

Since I didn't know the exact village that the marriage will be taken place I had to call others who will be in attendance for possible arrangements, the bus was booked and asked to wait in a central location for everyone to get access to it, the bus waited for us at ik (Ikot Ekpene) a different local government from mine,so I had to enter a vehicle down there.

	Here's when I boarded vehicle to the central location to meet with others for us to take off from there.

I paid about a thousand naira to get there that's about 9.18 steem equivalent in today's market price, so I got there around 12pm in the afternoon the bus was already filled up and didn't waste time so that we can get to the venue on time since it was far.

We finally, arrived at the venue for the marriage around 4pm hoping that they might have gone far but to our surprised nothing was done few people get seated and we went to look for the groom to show ourselves to him incase we will not see him again, we met him already dressed and waiting for the occasion to start. We were also given a place to seat and food being served while others were also eating theirs too.

So, the main event started almost to 6pm as the father and the mother of the bride was ushered in with a brief chairman opening address and a word of prayer before the groom was asked to match in with his entourage

It was already night so they quickly brought out the bride with the help light with people's phone

Immediately they brought out the bride,we could not wait any longer so entered our vehicle and disembark in our journey back home.

I actually got back home very late, tired and exhausted but in all I give God all the glory for a successful marriage and journey mercies he granted us all who attended the event.

Marriage is sweet when you meet with the right partner.
