Hello beautiful people out there. Happy yuletide season to you all. It's me your favorite writer, @okokon. Thank you for always believing in my post and also creating time out of your tide schedule to read my post. My daily engagements are worth reading because writing is my hobby. Sunday, the 21st December, 2025 would be difficult for me to forget in a hurry. Why? My friend in the field of saving spiritual lives, was sent forth by a congregation he had worked for ten years in a grand style. This was what happened.

I was informed officially with his invitation. When I got this invitation, I was happy for him. I knew that Church of Christ, Ebom Avenue in Abak Local Government of Akwa Ibom State would surprise him with gifts. As a man that I knew right from Bible College, there was nowhere I could stay away from the event. It was a great day for Min. Daniel Bassey.

The event was billed on Sunday by 11am. It wasn't comfortable for me as a pastor because I had to conduct service by then. Abak Local Government is a little bit away from the State Capital where my church is located. I was reminiscing on how to use one stone to kill two birds. So I had to plan with my Assistant Pastor, Evangelist Sunday George to help continue the service when I leave.

I woke very early by 5 am to get prepared. Without wasting time, I went to take my bath after my prayers to thank God, Almighty for a new day. I came back from the bathroom to take some fruits before a light breakfast. I didn't want to eat heavy food that morning because normally I don't eat to church on Sundays. But because I would stay longer after service for another event I had to eat a bit

By 10 am, I had rounded the major parts of the service at my home church. Before I left, I prayed for my members. I told them I would be attending a sendforth of a colleague. So I left.

I arrived at the venue of the event safely by 11.20 am. The event had already begun. Guests and visitors came in large numbers to witnessed the celebration of a man of God who had labored with this Church. Church of Christ, Ebom Avenue is a congregation of about 500 worshippers. Though, the number has increased with the coming of a new minister, it is a big congregation even then.

It was a time for a spiritual blessing. The serving minister, Min. Utibe Ibanga embraced the outgoing, Min Daniel as a sign of love, acceptability and impartation. It was a nice sight to behold.

It was a time for appreciation. Individual members: the youth, children, men and women were invited to bring their gifts . Invited guests were not left out in appreciating this dynamic man of God. Minister Daniel is known for his passion for souls saving, evangelism and unity in the body of Christ. During his time, the church here experienced a remarkable growth, spiritually and physically. The church in addition to the purchase of a piece of land for the erection of his residential home, gave him a cheque of One Million naira (N1,000,000). It was a show of love

It was time for entertainment. Everyone was served in groups. I was served among the ministers to show respect to the servants of God. It was a sumptuous food. After entertainment, I returned home. I came back home by 3 pm. I was exhausted. So I had to rest.

When I woke up from rest, I went to watch Manchester City premier league match. I came back by 6 pm. I had a time with my two kids at home. In other to make them happy I gave them my phone to watch children videos. By 8.30 pm, I felt sleepy. I went to bed and took forty wings.

That was how I spent my Sunday. Let me thank you specifically for always ready to read my post. Without you, I won't write. You are special to me.

Do have a nice moment this season. Keep steeming. Until I come your way again with another diary, remain great
