The diary game [10-04-2024]//: Attending a wedding 💍 ceremony.

Hello my humble beautiful and handsome readers. I salut you all. Welcome to my diary post. I'm here to deliver, and as usual you won't be disappointed.

Today's Diary brings me the memories of a wedding ceremony I attended and had a great time and experience which I thereby share with you every detail of this event.

Limbe is a small coastal town found in the southwest region of Cameroon. This is where all the action took place as I now share with you in my diary proper.

Dear diary

As a lover of sports I always start up my day with sports. This time I decided to go on a marathon juggling with some of my neighbors. We covered a distance of over 2km before reaching the final stop.

At the park we perform a series of body exercises, like crunches, keggle exercises, and lots more to get the body in shape. It's been a while since I lastly when out on a marathon, so it was a bit challenging to me. But nevertheless I came out plane.

I returned back from sports roughly by 8:30 a.m. took a shower and then some coffee. I was actually traveling to another region to attend this wedding. So it's not going to be an easy task for me. I dressed up real quick and was on my way.

A ride to limbe is approximated to be around 3 hours or more. I left my house when it was 10;00.a.m, to the bus station. I immediately called my brother who leaves in Buea that I will drop by his place before heading to limbe.

By the time he was at school, University of Buea. My ride was almost in the approximated time I stated above, coupled to the fact that they're numerous checks points on this particular stretch, reasons for a bit of delay.

Finally I get to meet my brother at school and he was really excited to see me after a while. We chatted for some time, then he decided he'd take me around to show me places on campus. It was really beautiful out there with good infrastructure.

Was heart warming moment catching up with my brother after a while. The connection is great. But then I still had to live as that wasn't what I came in town for.

Around 4:30 p.m I took off to limbe where the wedding ceremony will be taking place. This time around it's a short distance Maximum 30 minutes or less. When I arrived at the party hall, majority of the invitees well not yet there.

I ask around and I was told the couple when out for a photo shoot far off. Sitting around while waiting would be boring for me as I look around and wasn't familiar with any of the faces around me. So I decide to move out for a little while.

On the street an idea cross my mind, maybe I should check out the beach. So I immediately respond and one way, took a bike to the beach. Distance is roughly like 1.5 km from the event house.

While at the beach , I walked around to to check the site, fill the breeze from the ocean, and eventually come to a spot to relax. While resting a horse man came to me requesting if I wanted a horse ride. At first, I was scared.

It's my first time. But then I'm a man, so with some courage and faith I climb on and took a ride. It was really an amazing encounter.

After I'm done riding. I decided to have a seat by the Conner and watch the waves as the spread out from the ocean. The noise from the water, the breeze was really amazing. At least I had some time to meditate for myself.

Back to the main focus of the day. I Left the beach around 6p.m back to the event house. On arrival the couple just got back from their photo shoot. The event was set to begin. I got in the hall and was ushered to my table.

The event started with a dance parade from the bridesmaids and groomsmen. After then, they spare to the side to give way to the bride and groom of the Day. Ladies and gentlemen, I introduced you to the bride and groom of the day Mr and Mrs Robinson. Our couple of honor.

I bet you the enchantment was massive. The noise, the vibe was too much. I wasn't able to get a more better shot as I couldn't only zoom in from a far range.

Now. The couple have their seats at the high table. So do the spectators. As the rest of the event goes on, I open my package of disposable and begin to digest the content asap. After that took some wine to complete it.

Now to one of the most colorful part of this event, a wonderful home artist by name LOIC SUMFOR was booked to perform at this event. The atmosphere was noisy when he stepped in. All the girls were shouting really hard. He perform on one of his singles "perfect".
He did so well and left the audience really satisfied.

So good, the day was still young. But I leave far. Hard to get going. So I just have a word with the couple and congratulate them in person before living. Coming back to douala will take almost the Same time as stated earlier.

When I arrived home, I was really exhausted, but then I forcefully took a shower and then fall to the bed like a log.

Dear diary. I had a wonderful day and a memorable Diary. It was a success as I could catch up with every initial plan. Thanks God for travelling mercy. At this point I say congrats to the couple and wish them a happy marriage life♥️.
