The diary game [15/04/2024]// Attending a wedding ceremony (Saturday).
Hello there. Greetings and welcome diary post. I believe you all doing great and ready to read some interesting diary with me. I bring to you my diary post on how I attended a wedding ceremony on Saturday 13th April 2024.
Just like the common saying saying; Saturdays are for weddings. If you're not getting married on Saturday what are you doing? 😂. Alright my answer is ll be attending one. Simple as dat. I'm hopping I take a step in that direction in the future.
I had a great time at this ceremony with lot of colorful events which I will be sharing out with you in this context. Stay tune and read with me till the end.
Diary proper.
It's been a whole week of long hours of work and lesser sleep. It's a Weekend and I got to balance all what I have been missing this whole time. I slept breaking Saturday morning like a baby. I usually use the couch, but this time I got right in to my sofa bed.
I realized it was morning when my 7:00 alarm rang. That sense, I missed the 5:00 and the 6:00 alarm. This is to show how serious my sleep had been. I woke up that morning excited, I guess I tipped you the reason already. To repeat, I will be attending my best friend's wedding.
Seriously, I and my boy have enjoyed the bachelor life enough, and he said he wants that to end. Congratulations he took the bold move. I'm hoping to do same later on.
My morning routine remain thesame which include, pushups and crunches. After that I had a bit of tea for the morning and that was enough to keep me for lunch. Perhaps it's a feast day and I will be having enough to eat later on. Reason I have to reserve some space in my belly..
Church session of the wedding begins at 10:00. Like I mentioned earlier. This is my best friend, every part of the day, I was present. Dressing up and living the guest house to the church premises is a 10 minute journey. My groom and bride look so elegant for their Day. Such a beautiful couple.
With all due respect, I introduced you to the bride and groom of the day. Mr and Mrs Valentine. The beautiful couple of the day. Vally is my best friend from childhood and I'm happy he's sealing it off with her fiance Daisy. Its been a tough ride but here there are. Strong, sweet, bonded 😊.
At church. We made a grand entry as the groomsmen and bridesmaids, Groom's friend. After that we open to the side to make a path way for the majestic entry of our couple of honor. Infact the day was really a memorable one.
After entrance, the pastor made a little preaching on marriage. Reassuring the couple of their journey through marriage life. After that, the couple exchange vows , rings and the grand say you may kiss the bride. My people it was a sweet kiss out there. Couldn't capture all on camera.
The church part is gradually coming to an end, we proceed to collect offerings for the day. And there after, the pastor issued our couple a certificate of honor. The rest of the time we use that to take pictures.

After photo shoot, that was it about the church part. We move to part two.which is the reception. Did I tell you before what's most enjoyable about weddings?😂. The reception part guys😋. Here you have free food in excess. My guy is a responsible man and he made sure there was more than enough for the invitees.
The reception wasn't so far from church. Something like a five minute walk. So majority of the population present just stroll to the venue, while we accompany the groom and the bride in the car.
At the reception. We organized and made a dance entry which the bride and the groom followed the same step right after. When we were done, we were ushered to our table with the bride and groom as well ushered to the high table.
We took our seats and began to digest the chewable present on the table for a tip. A few mind games were played and then everyone was ushered to the food table for any meal of your choice and quantity you want.
Reception was the last part of the event, as evening approaches, people began to despatched one after the other. The bride and groom accompanied the crowd outside to take a last minute photo with the crowd before they return home.
I was mostly busy with drinks and other stuff inside that I couldn't catch up with all the action, but then I was able to grab a di minute photo with the bride.
Nightfall is fast approaching, so we gathered the remaining stuff necessary to take home and load them in the car. The bride and groom were also put in their vehicle as the dispatch to the house. Seeing nothing left doing, I left the place to my home as well.
Dear diary. I will like to congratulate my best friend for a happy marriage life, ♥️ and also thank God for making this event a success and memorable one indeed. Thanks to all the invited and any other person who participated in this event. God bless you all.
