The diary game [24/04/2024]// Attending a practical session with my students.

Greetings steem-cameroon all round members and welcome to my blog. Hopefully you all doing great. I am so excited to share with you about my day.

Wednesdays are one of the most hectic days on my schedule, this is because I have a program on my school curriculum which runs through out the day. 9hrs lesson is so tiring to cover up.

Most often, I returned home really exhausted. Talking and demonstrating in this duration is not an easy task, coupled with the fact that children nowadays need serious work to actually understand the concept. So you will have to repeat explaining as much as possible.

My diary game will be talking about the activities i carried on today, especially the one which I have highlighted, that is witnessing a lab session with my science students.

Due to the severe downpour on Tuesday, I woke today a little sick because I was really soaked by rain the previous day. Knowing I have work to do, I took my meds for common cold and proceed with the rest of my day.

Early morning. I tried a few moves on sports, so sad I wasn't able to do a full session as I wasn't feeling completely fine. So I just do a tip. Hopefully I do a complete session next day.

While I'm don with sports. I took a bath and then get a cup of coffee afterwards. Today I'm having lessons which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. it's going to be a serious one out there but I am confident to face it.

I left for school at about 9:30 a.m. my ride will take 20 minutes oftentimes. While in school, I fill in the attendance book, move to the staff room to have a rest before going in for lessons.

A few minutes later, I was ready to carry on my lessons. Beginning with high school, today we were having lessons in further mathematics, to be specific, the mechanics section of this subject.

Our lesson was on simple harmonic motion, forces on springs and equation of simple harmonic motion. Damp harmonic motion, calculus of differential equations on damping. If you're a science oriented person, you will be able to relate on this pretty well. If not it's okay.

During my free periods of the day, my colleague told me she will be having a practical session in biology. So I decide to accompany them to the lab as I had nothing doing in the moment.

While at the lab. What they were up to was; carrying out a dissection on a chick. I stayed all along and watched every step. It brings back memories of what I did in my prime. The students did a formidable job here.

There well able to perform the dissection properly, draw and label all the necessary part of the interior without problems. Coudos to them.

After the students are done with the the sesion of their dissection, their teacher move around to supervise and make corrections whenever necessary. I was happy with the work they put out there.

Nothing much doing I left the lab, back to the staff room to get some chalk. I had my last lesson for the day and thats where I rap it up with work today.

Getting back home, I was really exhausted and helpless. I kept my stuff, took a cold shower to freshen up. Afterwards I tried to check on someone work but I was so tired. I use the time to take a nap instead, only to realize it was almost midnight.

Totally I forgot about dinner. So bad but I hope to catch up with breakfast in the morning. For the rest of the time I used it to study and get my stuffs ready for work next day.

Dear diary. Although I had a hectic day, I'm still happy it came to pass successfully. Every detail I plan for the day was accomplished. I thank God for today. Hopefully the diary is more colorful next time.
