When I was a child, I read in a literature that half of what is possible in the world is done by women and half by men. Men and women have contributed equally to the creation of civilization from the previous era until now. Through the combined efforts of men and women, we have this beautiful civilization today.

Hello friends, I hope you are all well. I don't think there is any sector now where women have not contributed or reached. Women are now not only queens wearing crowns; they now have the power to rule the world. Today, through the contest, I will share with you about gender equality.

How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

Women are now not just someone's mother, sister, or wife; they are now taking the lead in teaching, engineering, medicine, and even in various big political positions beyond their limitations. But there are still many people in society who do not want to accept the issue of equal rights for men and women. And we can never solve this issue alone.

So I will support all initiatives that support gender equality in order to create a gender-equal world in my community forge. That's why I will directly involve myself with the organizations around me that are working on this issue and work there as a volunteer. If I can't help them by donating any money, then at least I will support them with my time.

Moreover, I will raise my voice against those who engage in gender discrimination and harassment of women in our society and express my protest. That's why I will educate myself first, and then I will talk directly with those who have created this gender discrimination in society and try to help the community forge a gender-equal world.

Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes, I think the contribution of women and the power they have in shaping society have a positive impact on everyone, and celebrating International Women's Day makes women's power visible to all those people who consider women trivial objects.

If we want to change the society, then first we have to change the people of the society; we have to change their thoughts. And Women's Day shows people all walks of life that women are not backward in any field.

This day is a strong response to gender discrimination, where they are honored internationally and a special day has been declared for them.

Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

No, the feminism fight and the women's rights fight are not the same. Although many will say that feminism's fight is for women to establish women's rights, their fight and the fight for women's rights are the same thing. But most of the fights that feminism has are to change the different norms and cultures in society; They fight to overcome the limitations that they have in society and politically.

But on the other hand, women's rights are the fight where they fight for their rights related to education, their security in society, their right to vote, their health protection, and their own right to property. In our Islamic religion, women are given full respect; their rights are kept as the property of their father and husband.

What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs , and COO ? Give possible examples in your country

Women are now not limited to managing the house and family; they are now leading in top positions such as presidents, parliamentarians, senators, CEOs (chief executive officers), COOs, etc.

The best example is our honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Yes, the Prime Minister of our country is a woman. Our country has had many male Prime Ministers before, but after the appointment of the current Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, she has proved that a woman can make a broken country a developing one in the world through her strength and talent.

After the war in 1971, many men were appointed prime ministers in our country, but their leadership did not give our country a good image in the world. But after our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came to the leadership in 2009, she took our Bangladesh to a very high level. Moreover, the humanity he has shown in the Rohingya Crisis has set a precedent for the whole world, and that is why I am proud of my prime minister.

What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

Of course, it is possible to become a good leader only through merit. In my opinion, gender does not matter when it comes to leadership; anyone who has the qualifications and all the abilities to lead can be a good leader. A leader will be considered successful only when he is able to influence his subordinates in a positive and expected way to achieve certain goals. So leadership should not be based on gender. Already, our prime minister has been elected for three consecutive elections and has proven that leadership is never based on gender; leadership is achieved through merit.
