INTRODUCTION
MORNING
I got up yesterday by 6:30am and we did our usual morning devotion. After the devotion i prepared my niece for school. While he was going to school i took my bath, had my own breakfast
fried irish and egg
and went to work. I arrived workplace by 9:30am and my madam was already there.Infront of our workplace was the population of Nkoabang-Yaounde all out in their number then what immediately crossed my mine was that an accident might have occurred leading to loss of lives but that was not the case. On looking across i saw a bulldozer
putting some buildings down. We heard rumors the previous day that they were going to demolish those buildings along the road in that area to enlarge the road but we were not sure because we were not given any notice. Then i immediately rushed inside and on entering to my greatest surprise my madam was parking and i had to join her so we do it together. We had to transport the things to a nearby place abit inside from the road.We were even fortunate because they did not start with our own side of the road at least we had small time to park. Some people came and made their buildings already destroyed while others parked in that morning like us. When we finished parking i went home and as i arrived home my aunt asked to prepare fried rice which i did
fried rice
and then went back to our workplace. The funniest thing is most people occupying such places at the roadside are business people so most businesses were destroyed. I felt pity for them because i know what it means to start all over again. God help them🙏.The bulldozer was there the whole day and finally they demolished our own place by 7:00pm
and then i came back home. Now im just home no work again😭.
EVENING
I came back so tired so i went directly to my room to rest but i couldn't rest. I ponder over the whole issue the whole night. The fact that i was going to stop work was height of it but then i had no choice and now im just home😭 .The demolition affected alot of people but like they say every development demands a demolition. I finally slept off at mid night. Thank you for reading.
Hmm this wuna country and demolition ehhh the wahala too much. Do they even compensate people?
