CLUB100 // The Diary Game 3: Betterlife with Steem (15/01/2023)

Hello Steem World....

Second sunday of the year and i have not been able to make it for church service even once. Well its not like i deliberately stay home and decide not to go for church service. The first Sunday of the year, instead of going to church, i went to school as i had class through out the day. Now this second Sunday, instead of going to church again, i was going for a birthday surprise party. Some few days back, a friend of mine who is a photographer was contacted by someone to come cover his mother birthday party and thanks giving in church this Sunday, as ask if he knows any saxophonist. He said yes and quickly gave my contact to the guy which we made arrangements for this Sunday.

After talking with him, it turns out that the birthday celebration and thanks giving will be done in their village(Santa) and i had to go there and play the saxophone during the event. He pleaded with me to be there before 9am and for me to be there before this time, i had to leave my place super early.

So on Sunday morning, i got up from bed early enough around 4am, did my morning routines as usual and by 5am, i did some workout exercise which i had stopped doing. Before 6am i had already had my bath, dressed up and prepared to leave the house. My photographer friend who linked me the person who wants to celebrate his mom birthday suggested that we go together since he will be covering the entire event as well. To catch up with time, we had to leave very early as from where we are to the village is about an hour drive.

I left my place, went to the park to meet my friend where we intend taking a bus to the mans village.

We had a safe journey as by 9am we were already there. But when we got there, the people incharge of decorations still had much work to do and the program had not yet begun. Since there was still time, and since i left the house without eating, I trekked to the road to get something to eat while my friend was setting up his camera.

As time goes by, the place kept on changing and looking good as the people doing the decorations were doing a great job. Finally the program started at 11am when they were done with their church service and more over, the celebration was done right infront of the church. So i was the one who ushered the birthday celebrant out of the church with my saxophone, playing a birthday song for her as she celebrates her 85th birthday.

By 12pm i played again a birthday song for her to cut her cake after which was followed by refreshment and there was allot to eat. I went and dished my own food from the table, couldn't finished it because i was belly full. Later on i collected my payment for the program which the man gave more than what we agreed as he was very very much satisfied with my service.

From there, i left and went to PINYIN village which is not that far from santa as @chant had also invited me to come play the saxophone as they celebrate their fathers birthday. I went there and ofcourse did what i know how to do best by playing the saxophone.

There was enough to eat but i couldn't eat again as a result of tomuch eating from the previous birthday. When i was done, and was about going back to town, @chant told me take her daughter along with me back to town as she has some school work to do and also prepare for school on Tuesday. I left the village with her daughter back to their house in town where the father was waiting for us. We had a safe journey back home and when we arrived, the father was happy to see his daughter and again offered me food but i turned it down again.

I left and went back home really tired where i had my bath, and went to bed as i call it a day.
