CLUB100 // The Diary Game 3: Betterlife with Steem (22/01/2023)

My typical Sunday rotates around church. Since the start of this year, i have not been able to attend church service even for once, not because i dont want to but because i was feeling sick some sundays and going to school as well to on sundays, but i will always send information to my friends about my situation incase the pastor ask about my whereabout. Apparently, they haven't been saying anything to the pastor and this blessed morning, i woke up with about 7 messages from the pastor around 4am, asking how i am doing, where i have been, why i haven't been coming to church and wanted me to come this morning. I was surprised with the messages.

This morning by 6am after carrying out my morning routines, i had my bath and prepared for church service as it usually starts by 8am. I left the house by 7:30am and got to church some few minutes after 8am when service had already started. While service was going on, one of my friend were trying to set up the sound system so we can have a good sound during service. In addition to this Sunday, it was the last day of the church 21 days of prayer and fasting. As we started the year with fasting seeking the face of God.

During praise and worship, i was playing the saxophone, later within the service, the pastor gave chance for some people to come for their testimonies and any song. Since was interesting, which ended with a feast as we end the 21 days of fasting and prayers.

The pastors wife prepared enough rice and brought it to the church for us to eat at the end of the service.

After eating, i stayed back again with my friends for about an hour doing some free styles and rehearsing with the instruments. By 1pm when we were done, we all left and went our separate ways as i decided to go visit my father at home before going back to my place. When i got home, he was happy to see me, we spoke for over an hour, i later went to my elder brothers room and slept there for a while. By 5pm when i was about going, my mom was not yet back from where ever she went to. I was really unhappy leaving the house without seeing my mom.

I left the house, to a taxi back to my place and by 6pm, i was home as i ended my day by watching the match between Arsenal and Man United which ended in favor of Arsenal.
