CLUB100 // The Diary Game 3: Betterlife with Steem (26/02/2023)

Todays last Sunday of the month of February and of i guess everyone would loved to end the month with some thanks giving. Woke up from bed super late this morning... that is around 6am with the help of my alarm clock. I was still feeling sleepy, i guess because i was super stressed the previous day. Church service starts at 8am meaning i have less than 2 hours to be in church. Before i could finish my morning devotion and other house chores, it was already 7am. I didn't even finish my house chores because of time, so i went and had my bath and prepared for church. I finally left the house around by 8am which is the starting time for church service. This was the moment which i wished i had a car of my own, so i wont be delayed by taxis trying to fill in their empty seats and stopping from time to time so as to carry passengers.

By 8:45am, i was in church and this time, the choir leader was already leading in a moment of praise and again, just like last sunday, all our instrumentalist were not present. At least the drummer was around, our second keyboardist, but the lead keyboardist and bass guitar were not around. This time i was playing the bass guitar. Not that i know how to play it well, just some basic knowledge i have on it.

I played the bass guitar through out the entire service while my saxophone was idling at one end.

At the end of church service, initial i had to go for a birthday surprise at 11am and so i thought i wont even finish church service as we usually close at 12 noon. But the event planner told me to hold on as she is still doing some necessary preparations. I left church and went to visit @fombae where i met him doing some laundry outside. While we were talking and puttng things straight on how to go through this week engagement challenge, his wife served me with food and immediately i was done eating the event planner started ringing my phone to meet up with her.

I went for the birthday surprise... we did the surprise as i was playing the birhtday song with some other love songs with my saxophone. The birthday celebrant burst out and started crying.... which just reminded me start since i started playing birthday this year, this is the first person who cried as we did the surprise.

I left afterwards to an award ceremony in town... which was all about recognizing artist in the city of Bamenda...

The program started at 4pm and closed at a time i dont know because i could not finish the program as it was already late as i left the place by 8am.

I enjoyed my time there, met my friends and mentors.. I actually wished i could finish the program but because of security, i had to go back home

When i got home, i was indeed tired and having some light headache... I really wanted to do some work online but no strength for that... So i went to bed as i called it a day
