CLUB100 // The Diary Game 3: Trip to the city of Buea for a musical Concert. (11/18/2023)

Hello Steem World... For some months now, I have be planning and preparing for a Gospel musical concert out of my city Bamenda. This Concert is organized and sponsored by my own very brother and namesake and we both play the saxophone but he is based in the city of Buea while i am in Bamenda.

After preparing for months, i had to travel to Buea this Saturday morning for the concert. I had obtain permission from work which was granted but unfortunately, one of my lecturers in school organized a class this same Saturday morning unannounced. I wish i could attend the class but i didn't because i had to travel and from my city to where the concert is supposed to hold is about 8 hours journey.

I left the house early by 7am to the bus station to booked a seat for the journey. The idea was to travel by day so by evening i'd be in buea, and at least rehears with the music team over there, rest as well before the deal day for the program.

After paying my ticket, i came back home put my things together, made sure my instrument is fine, as well as the cloth i intend to wear that day.

By 9am, i left the house, took a taxi to the bus station as the bus had to take off by 10 am. Before 9:30am i was at the bus station waiting for checking and take off.

By 10am on dot, the bus took off and while in the bus, i met a friend of mine travelling to Buea as well just for the concert. Indeed i was glad that i wont be alone through out this 8 hours journey. She had bought some popcorn to be eating along the journey which she shared with me, and because of her, i'd say the journey was short as we kept discussing.

Normally we were suppose to be in Buea by 6pm, but because of traffic along the way, we arrived at 8:30pm and in addition, the general rehearsal session that was suppose to hold before the concert the next day was cancelled. I was not really happy because the reason i travelled by day was because of the rehearsals else i would have taking the night bus and with that, i wouldn't have missed my class.

I was really tired and hungry upon my arrival, i immediately called my kid sister who is based in Buea to come pick my up from the bus pack.
We went home together, and first thing i did was having my bath while waiting for her to cook food so we both can eat, but instead she went to the road and bought some "puffpuff and beans" for me to eat and sleep as she was tired and could only cook the next day which was a Sunday.

After eating, i immediately went to bed as i called it a day while hoping for the grand concert the next day.
