The Diary : How i spend my Sunday 24/7/22

Hello diary....

Greetings everyone, hope we are doing great and happy Sunday to all.

Sundays are one of the most enjoyable days in Cameroon, while others go to church, others spend in in bars. The end results always reflects on monday. Ahh!!! Monday always begins badly 😩.
How did you spend your Sunday?

I did night on Saturday, so i woke up this morning at 6am did my prayers. Since i was with my colleague, she had done the cleaning, so it was left for me to round up with report writing and other paper work.
I was happy but just then, one mama came in for her routine wound dressing.
It wasnt wrong just that i wasn't expecting her that early and the strength for wound dressing.
The dressing is normally the serious type (pics withheld), because i dont want some people to collapse.
Nursing is not for the weak

I got her things ready and did the dressing, thank God the prognosis is good as compared to the previous week. After which i had to clean and disinfect the material used.

Getting done with my paper work, i decided to help my colleague/ sister to spread her slippers business outside.

The slippers are durable, light and comfortable, its very affordable too

Unfortunately due to difficulties in getting a taxi from mile 17 to mile 14, she came very late that was 9;30 am. I was angry before she came but her explanation calmed me its was realllly late. Since I had to explain and do some small "handing over" , i couldn't make it to church today.

Getting home, the tap wasn't flowing, went in search for water (within the rainy season), got some . I couldn't do laundry though there was a bit of sunlight today, what i had wasn't even enough.

I slept, woke up and prepare for work. Still on night shift. My colleague left in a hurry to make some preparations for her son's birthday
