Good day beautiful people of a beautiful God. Accept warm greetings from my end. I can conveniently brag of sending warm greeting because I'll simply fetch from the sun 🌞 that seems to be gracing our day here today. Today, I feel in my spirit to stir up my creativity and I hope I get to amaze you all.

It all started when I woke up from bed at 5h30 am and like a rooster 🐓 which sings to thank its creator when it awakes, I did my morning meditation thanking God for counting me amongst the living.

Then, I had to freshen up. Freshening up reminds me of the Indian Mynah which would spend several minutes playing and dipping itself in and out of fresh water under the sunny skies. I can only imagine how this makes her feel. Just as fresh water would help to preen her feathers, bringing to them more luster and beauty, so does warm water stimulates micro circulation beneath my skin making for a rush of new blood that nourishes my skin bringing it to its glow. It equally gives me the energy to puncture my way through the day.

Breakfast is obviously next on my list. It's often said; "Eat breakfast like a king🤴" and I'm in no measure to disappoint the person who made that statement. As I ponder on how kingly my breakfast table will look like, the images a lioness which isn't intimidated by its small size but sees an elephant fit for breakfast , quickly comes to mind. Having that in mind, I settle on water fufu and egussi okro and I push it down with some freshly pressed orange juice. What a sumptuous😋 dish for breakfast, kingly I mean😅.

I thought my day was taking off well until when I stepped out to hustle then came this heavy down pour. It was as though the heaven were jealous of my breakfast🤔, but then I think it's just playing its part, trying to answer someone elses prayer out there. So as I pondered, the image of a toad under shelter on its way to hustle for the days food flashed through my mind and I hopped onto the shelter of a nearby shop for a bit, waiting for the rain to give way.

The more I wait, the more the rain increases, the gods must be crazy😣 but they won't stop my shine. So, like water which braves all odds to achieve its objective, so I step into the rains, kicking and splashing till I get a carb. When blocked, if it can't go above or around, water will sink. If it still can't, it will evaporate, and if its successfully held bound in one place, it will build up and break through sinking you in its anger. While in the taxi, I'm thinking about all the beautiful things I'll do with the money I'll bring back today. Little did i know that I'll be returning home this day with less than half the cash I was building castles on.

In my low state of mind while on my way back later that the evening, when I was about thinking that I was a disappointment and a failure, the thought of a vulture zoomed into my mind. A vulture is a very patient bird who'll soar around very patiently waiting for it's prey to die so it can dine. As long as it's still alive even if it takes a week, it will patiently wait. It knows it will eventually die and it will have its fill at dinner, replenishing all its lost energy. So, I brightened up realizing that nothing was lost and I could make triple the next day, compensating for the little I made today. I eventually got home and guess what... .

Yeah you guessed right! When I got home I tuned the stereo to some groovy jazz, popped a champaign and made merry. While dancing, I was literally carried into the lemurs world. You will mostly finds lemurs on two legs trying different walk and jump moves and having fun around for no good reason as compared to other related animals.

I ended up tired and all I wanted was a warm bath just like the one I had in the morning, thank God for the day and sleep so that I can wake up stronger to face a new day.

Dear reading Steemians, we are all an embodiment of several creatures, built to survive in any and every situation. Like a Rooster, we need to submit ourselves in gratitude to a higher power(God) every single day we wake-up. Every single day, we need to embody the Indian Mynah freshening up and charging ourselves with the energy and vibes that will drive us through. Faced with challenges, we could wear the mane of a lioness, being courageous and knowing that we are equal to every challenge that comes our way. Like the toad, we could very well take cover and shelter to better strategize in front of a dire situation, and then spring up again to overcome. We should always stop at nothing to win or overcome like water. Patience is a virtue and we all must purchase lots of it like a vulture, because it will always come handy when we are waiting for a better outcome. Miss no opportunity to celebrate like the lemur. Even the smallest of achievements need to be celebrated. Always remembering that BEING THANKFUL UNBLOCKS AND ATTRACTS MORE REASONS TO BE THANKFUL ABOUT.
