Steem Cameroon Poetry Contest Season 11 - (Choice)
We often quite hear people make statements like; life is a choice or happiness is a choice, and so on. In effect, whoever we are are today, or whatever is happening to us right now is all as a result of the choices we made or failed to make yesterday. This could be clearly observed in career choices, choice of spouse, choice of neighborhood or country, diet choice, choice of friends/association, spiritual choices, lifestyle, just to name a few.
By my words, a choice is a psychological state of mind, predisposition, inclination or penchant that someone has during a decision making process which accounts for his/her settling for one thing, idea, situation as oppose to another. The consequences of choices made could either be favorable or not, depending on the mastery of the situation at hand, the acquired knowledge on the subject or what advice we get and from whom.
Through out my life, I've been faced with numerous choice making situations, most of which led to favorable outcomes and a few of whose outcomes were displeasing. It might interest y'all to know that I personally don't believe in wrong choices. I believe choices expose us to different experiences that forge different personalities in us at different times. It's now left for each person to learn what is to be learnt from the outcome of a choice made and to drop what isn't necessary and move on, no regrets at all.
I decided the shape of the earth from the begining, ask God Almighty
I decided the state of affairs of this earth, ask Adam
I decide whether to be kind or wicked, ask Cain
I decide to listen or not to listen, ask Noah
I decide to follow or not to follow, ask the Israelites
I am CHOICE; take me along or not, I'm still in the picture.
I will be with you before an obstacle, as Moses
I will be with you when tempted, ask Joseph
I Will be with you when commissioned, ask the servant with one talent
I will be with you when poor, ask Job
I will be with you when decieved, ask Solomon
I am CHOICE; choose me or not, i remain king.
You will consider me when in lack, ask the prodigal son
You will consider me when abused, ask Jesus
You will consider me when accused, ask Peter
You will consider me when corrupted, ask Judas Iscariot
You will consider me when revealed to, ask Thomas
I am CHOICE; I was there in the beginning and I'll be there when it ends.
Therefore, the worst choice to make is not to make a choice at all, which in itself will be a choice.

Yes reality is choice is just too old , in sense that it has been there indeed from the beginning . Think even our perfect Creator Himself did make His own personal choices during creation . Cause choice is ever here daily .
