Movie Blog ๐ฅ: LEGACIES (Season 1)
Hi hi hi it's time for another movie review. Thank you all for the welcome and encouragement to continue this blog. I'll bring you just the best and probably the worst ๐ movies based on my ratings. You know the drill right... we'll deliberate it in the comment section.
The movie we'll be talking about today is LEGACIES precisely it's first season. This is a drama series about vampires, werewolves and witches.
- Introduction:
For this series, the storyline continues from other supernatural beings drama series like Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Apparently this series is surrounded around the daughter of one of the world's original vampires Klaus Michaelson. Hope Michaelson (daughter) happens to be tribreed, that is she is part vampire, part werewolf and part witch.
This series tells her story of attending a school for the "gifted" just like her and everything in-between.
- Personal Opinion on Season 1
Now! What's my take on season 1. I think compared to it's predecessors, Legacies is abit of a let down. I can remember how star struck I was when I watch The Originals but watching Legacies I'm like really?
The acting isn't really captivating and dangerous and suspenseful as I imagined it to be. Maybe it's because of my expectations. Anyways the setup is rather accurate.
There were one or two suspenseful moments like the place where Landon died and came back to life. That's like my only wow part in Season 1.
The teenage love and dating well well didn't really get to me. Last but not the least, the monsters!!! I believe they could have done better. Like probably real monsters or no monsters at all. Infact the idea of monsters was a bad idea ๐. I mean look at this guy...
I don't think a vampire, werewolf and witch movie should have these kinds of monsters. They should've stuck to strictly the main event. Nevertheless I did like the girl with Medusa's head ๐.
She looks good right?
Even with all the hate I'm dishing, I do love the theories and how it unfolded. Even though I feel let down, I'll still continue with season 2 hahaha. I just have this thing about vampire, werewolves and witch movies. Also the main character supposedly died at the end of Season 1 so I want to watch her come back for season 2.

Now i think you got me there. Vampire movies are actually my best, i mean the real ones, not any with seemingly unreal character representations. I could watch vampire Diaries and The Originals over and over. Not with standing, I'll be tempted to watch Legacies because of Klaus Michaelson's appearance in the movie.

When I heard Klaus will appear in the movie is almost fainted. He's the boss of all vampire movies and that's on period ๐.
