This Video Left Me Thinking… Are We Really Seeing What Matters?”
I came across this video, and it left me thinking deeply.
Not just about what I saw… but about what we often fail to see.
Sometimes, we watch stories online and move on quickly.
But for some of us, these realities are not just videos — they are everyday life.
In our small school, we work with children who face challenges that many people will never see.
When school closes, their struggles do not.
Some return to homes where:
There is not enough food
There is no stable support
There is no safe place to rest
And sometimes… despite our efforts, we lose them.
This is why we are trying to build a dormitory — not as a luxury, but as protection.
A place where a child does not have to choose between learning and survival.
This video reminded me of something important:
👉 Awareness is not enough.
👉 Feeling touched is not enough.
👉 At some point, something must be done.
So I want to ask:
What do you think is the responsibility of those who see these realities?
Is it enough to watch… or should it lead to action?
I would really value your thoughts.
Thank you for your thoughts. This is something we are experiencing directly, and we are trying to take small steps to make a difference.
