The corn you guys are growing is very similar to the corn that is grown here and it seems like it is at the same point in it's growth cycle as the corn here on the other side of the world. People will grow sweet corn here that gets hand harvested to boil in water and eat and most of the fields actually get machine harvested here and sent to feed lots to feed cattle.
A large amount of corn is now being cultivated in our country and is mostly used for livestock.
I have mixed feelings about the livestock eating so much corn. Grass fed beef is a big thing here. People pay a premium for it instead of for beef that ate corn meal.
