Critical time for Steem.
I honestly think the number one priority of Mr Sun is to unlock the exchange's Steem as quickly as possible, maybe with some or all of his holdings and call it a day. I think that the situation has gotten so out of hand, that even if he sticks around, trust has been broken with the community and especially with the Witnesses.
All he is saying, is what we generally want to hear and there is nothing of substance. Since day one, it has been pipe dream ideas and nothing else. I believe actions speak louder than words.
The next week will be critical to the Steem ecosystem.

Sharing your concerns, unfortunately. Also, not everyone realizes that but the exchanges still haven´t started the power downs yet, which only indicates they might be planning to intervene again...

Yes and no. It seems that the exchanges keeping their steem powered up to add the pressure on the Witnesses, this for the very possibility you mentioned. But if they intervene again it will cause even more damage to their reputations. I think the exchanges are being told that if they power down and the witnesses regain consensus, that they will be frozen out in revenge. Which we all know is untrue.
This situation is not looking good. Too much mistrust and it is quickly becoming toxic.
That´s true. Too much tension, uncertainty, calculations and threats in the air for my liking :D :/ One thing is sure though, Steem is now in the spotlight all over the crypto world and that is undoubtedly a good thing ;)

He just realize he had a bad purchased and want a quick out. Maybe the community show him some Love and convince Him just to stay here and keep on Steeming!... Opportunity for all...✌✌ 😻
yes I hope so too, but that window of opportunity is closing really fast.
We need to give him a reason to stay and invest some money into development. We're not doing that at present.
