The city of Cambridge Massachusetts has voted to have an Economic empowerment program where there’s a moratorium on cannabis companies opening up that aren’t locally owned and represent members of demographics which are known to have higher rates of incarceration and Cambridge one particular company who is not an economic empowerment applicant rev clinics sued the city of Cambridge for their denial to service earlier this year and federal court ruling said it was a violation and shouldn’t be upheld, well today another judge really gives that ruling saying that Cambridge has the right to determine the process they want to open dispensaries in their town and that the economic empowerment program is right for the city
